Great Visit Teday! Everyone I encounter at Erie Dentistry is top notch! Elena; my hygienist, improved my gum health immensely since my last visit, much appreciated! Jonathan gave me tips on how to floss my back teeth better, you are awesome! Dr. Coleman’s gentle and compassionate dentistry puts me at ease, and Jessica makes the financial and scheduling process a breeze. I highly recommend Erie Modern Dentistry!

The entire staff is kind and professional during whatever procedure is necessary always sharing treatment options as well. The front desk is always very helpful with financial arrangements and scheduling appointments either on the phone or in person. I highly recommend this office!

Seems like a great place until you need dental work done. Spent $8,000 out of pocket for gum surgery over two visits and I was supposed to have to follow-up check-ins with Dr Yun as part of the patient after care. After they took my money I only saw his assistants who would go to a room and talk to Dr Yun who would then inform them that it's normal for my gums to still be inflamed months later. Somehow this place both made me trust dentists again, just to take my money and break that trust in an even worse way. I would avoid at all costs unless you only need cleanings, if they recommend any work, I would avoid Dr Yun.

Really unhappy with my wisdom tooth removal treatment unfortunately. I was told I’d be getting a bone graft and need to be put to sleep. When I went back for the procedure they said I wasn’t getting a bone graft, because that Doctor doesn’t do them, and that they get infected, but that I could still get one if I wanted… why would I want one if you’re telling me they always get infected? I was just confused because that’s what I was told/ charged for. (So I also had to make sure my husband asked them about refunding me) She also told me it’s up to me if I wanted to be put to sleep, but none of this was discussed with me beforehand so I felt very uncomfortable and on the spot. I prepared to be put to sleep because they said at my last appointment that I needed to be. She was also saying things to me like I know all of these dental things, so I had to say I don’t even know what a bone graft is, I needed things to be explained to me first at least so I could try to make an educated decision. The surgeon came in and was very casual, asked if I had any questions, but was very nonchalant. Did not explain the procedure to me. For example I did not know I would not be getting stitches for that area so I was very shocked to see the hole in my mouth not stitched up, so I’ve had to google if this is normal and was worried about healing and food getting in there. Things I think should have been discussed with me They also told my husband I would not be getting pain medication or antibiotics, but then a couple hours later I got a text from my pharmacy saying my prescriptions were ready, so we were confused. I did get antibiotics, and pain medication, and an anti bacterial mouth wash. I think they just need to be a little more professional and introduce themselves better and not assume information is know about these things. I understand they do this every day, but for someone who has anxiety about the dentist it was not a good experience.

I’ve been going to Erie Modern Dentistry for several years and have always had a positive experience. Everyone in the office is friendly, patient, and helpful. Elena Timoshina, RDH, does a great job with my cleanings. She’s thorough, takes the time to answer questions, and helps make appointments comfortable. Dr. Thomas Coleman is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explains things clearly, never makes me feel rushed, and I trust his recommendations. I appreciate the consistency of the care I’ve received over the years and would recommend Erie Modern Dentistry to anyone looking for a dental office in the area.

Dr. Coleman was absolutely amazing! He was so kind. The integrity in his work is outstanding. He’s patient and takes the time to make sure you understand every step in the procedure while also making sure you know why each step is important. He also took time to get to know me and offer me advice with my future in the dental field. He really is overall a good person and a very intelligent doctor. I’ve never been more impressed with a dental appointment and I recommend everyone come to him for your dental needs. Everyone should be lucky enough to have the care Dr. Coleman and his office provides to their patients!

Dental appointments can sometimes feel rushed or uncomfortable, but Elena took her time, explained everything she was doing, and made sure I was comfortable the entire visit. She did an excellent job with my cleaning and was very gentle while still being extremely detailed. I really appreciated how knowledgeable she was and how willing she was to answer questions and offer helpful advice without making it feel overwhelming. The whole office is clean, modern, and well organized, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
