Turn off Highway 17 onto Park West Boulevard, take the second right, and Salterbeck Street opens into the small office cluster at the front of the Park West community. That is where Expertise Dental keeps its suite, and the address tells you who it is built for: the northern half of Mount Pleasant, meaning Park West, Carolina Park, Rivertowne and Dunes West, plus the families already driving these roads for Charles Pinckney Elementary and Cario Middle. From Awendaw or the Isle of Palms it is a straightforward run down 17. From downtown Charleston or West Ashley, be realistic. You are crossing the Ravenel Bridge and then heading well north, which makes this a destination practice for peninsula patients rather than a convenient one.
The clinical center of gravity here is cosmetic and restorative dentistry, supported by implants, Invisalign, sedation, TMJ and airway assessment, and same-day treatment. Dr. Amanda Seay and Dr. Adamo Notarantonio both hold Accredited Fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dr. Tony Mennito and Dr. Melissa Minger Swanson round out the group. The practice also runs ceramic fabrication in-house, which changes how a crown appointment actually works. Instead of putty impressions, a temporary crown and a two-week wait for an outside lab, the prepared tooth is scanned digitally, the restoration is designed on screen and milled on site, then bonded the same day. Losing the temporary stage removes the most common source of trouble between visits, since temporaries are what come loose, leak and leave a tooth sensitive. It is not universal, though. A tooth broken below the gumline, or one that needs a root canal or gum healing first, still takes a staged approach across two or more appointments.
The office runs a four-day week, Monday through Thursday from 8.30am to 4pm, closed Friday and weekends. That is a real constraint if your own schedule is inflexible, and worth checking against your calendar before you commit to a multi-visit cosmetic plan. Set against it, the depth of the team means a complex case does not have to be referred out mid-treatment.

Always a good experience with Randy!! I have back issues and she ensures that I am comfortable in the chair. She will work as quickly as possible and angle the chair so there is little pressure on my back. She also provides a warming neck wrap. To be able to come home from the dentist and not be in severe back pain is a gift and speaks volumes. Thank you Randy!! The entire practice is wonderful!
