About Fabrice J. Gallez, DDS, MS

Based on Samaritan Drive in the Good Samaritan area of San Jose, California, Fabrice J. Gallez, DDS, MS is a dental practice serving the area. Gum disease treatment ranges from a deeper professional cleaning for early inflammation through to more involved periodontal care once bone around the teeth has started to be affected. Bleeding gums are usually the earliest sign, and the early stage is reversible with proper cleaning and better daily plaque control.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. You can reach Fabrice J. What are the early signs of gum disease?
Gums that bleed when brushing or flossing, redness and puffiness along the gumline, and persistent bad breath are the usual first indicators. Bleeding is the one most often dismissed, and it is the clearest early warning.
Is gum disease reversible?
The early stage, gingivitis, is reversible with thorough cleaning and better daily plaque control. Once it has progressed to periodontitis and bone around the teeth has been lost, that bone does not grow back — treatment then aims to halt further loss.
Why do dentists take X-rays?
Decay between teeth and problems below the gumline are invisible to the naked eye, so X-rays are what reveal them. Modern digital images use a low dose and are taken only when clinically justified.

I saw Dr. Ha for the first time today. He was a great listener and did what I asked to have done. Very light handed which I like for a dentist and explained everything clearly enough so even I understood it! Highly recommended!

Dr. Gallez and staff are professional and efficient. I felt I was finally in good care after having a poor experience with my previous periodontist.

My first experience with Dr. Fabric J. Gallez, DDS, MS was wonderful. I was so impressed with his professionalism and care that I recommended him to my husband, and he completely agrees with me. Although my husband is still in the process of receiving implants for three teeth, his experience has been excellent so far. I have also started treatment for a second tooth with Dr. Gallez, and I have complete peace of mind that the process will go smoothly. I am very excited about the final results and highly recommend Dr. Gallez to anyone considering dental implant treatment.

I was an exceptional experience from the time I walked in the office. The staff is courteous and friendly. Jackie and Laura are a breath of fresh air! It’s nice to have some laughter and not be so serious. They really put me at ease. Dr. Gallez was very patient with my questions and took time to explain in detail the procedure from the start to finish. Additionally, he shared what I can expect after the procedure and how long the healing will take. Overall, I am very confident that I have selected the correct Doctor and office to handle my implants.

What a great office! I have been putting off my visit for a very long time. Having worked in the dental field for years, I still find it difficult when it is my turn to have gum tissue work done, but your team made the experience much easier. The team at the front desk were very friendly and made me feel comfortable in their  "dental home." Dr. Gallez was an excellent listener and truly heard what my goals were. He was very thorough in explaining the necessary procedures and maintained a warm, friendly presence throughout the appointment. I look forward to being back soon!
