About Family & Cosmetic Dental Design
Family & Cosmetic Dental Design is a cosmetic dental practice located at 7520 Montgomery Blvd NE, Building C Suite D, in the Northeast Heights area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The office serves patients in the 87109 zip code and focuses on the aesthetic and functional aspects of dental treatment for adults seeking to improve their smile.
Cosmetic dentistry addresses the appearance of teeth and smiles, encompassing a range of treatments that improve tooth color, shape, alignment, and overall smile aesthetics. Services associated with cosmetic dental practices typically include professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneer placement, dental bonding to repair chips or gaps, and tooth-colored restorations that blend naturally with existing teeth.
In addition to purely aesthetic procedures, cosmetic dental design often integrates restorative work—such as crown placement and implant-supported restorations—with appearance-focused outcomes. Patients seeking to address both function and aesthetics following tooth loss, damage, or significant discoloration may benefit from a combined treatment approach tailored to their specific goals.
A cosmetic dental consultation typically involves a review of the patient’s concerns and goals, a clinical examination, and a discussion of available treatment options along with expected outcomes and timeline. Before committing to elective cosmetic procedures, patients should request a written treatment plan and cost estimate so they can make an informed decision about the recommended work.
Montgomery Blvd NE at the 87109 corridor is a well-traveled route through Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights, with the practice accessible to patients from Tanglewood, Academy Hills, and communities along Wyoming Blvd NE. The office is near a concentration of professional and medical services in the northern Heights area, making it convenient for those visiting from across the central Heights.
Cosmetic dental procedures vary widely in cost and permanence, from relatively low-cost bonding and whitening to more involved veneer and crown-based smile redesigns. Patients are well-served by requesting a detailed consultation that outlines multiple treatment pathways—from minimal to comprehensive—along with cost estimates for each, before making a decision about cosmetic dental investment.

Dr. Forde and hygienist Michelle are thorough & professional. The visit was cordial with all questions addressed while being prompted on potential concerns.
My family has been going here for years and everybody has always been very friendly and competent!
Very nice folks and smooth appointments.
Excellent staff and great Dentist.
Very nice staff and office. Keep me in the loop regarding my care. They recommended I use hydroxyapatite toothpaste for sensitive teeth, over sensodyne. I got some that day from Amazon. I look forward to see how much it helps over time.
I feel safe here! Good people.
The staff were all very kind and professional. I had yet another extraction. One of the worst dental procedures to have done in my opinion. Dr. Forde did an amazing job making sure I was as comfortable as can be with as little pain as possible. Best dental experience I've ever had. 2023 More dental work. A root canal this time. Seriously the best dental practice i have ever been to. I drive 4 hours to continue my dental services with this practice. Exceptional. Extraordinary. 2026
Wow, Dr. Forde was so kind and approachable and Teresa at the front desk is beyond patient and thorough. Great central location as well off Montgomery and Pennsylvania.
(Edit 2: added a star back after learning that the author of the attached letter no longer works there. Edit: Came back to take away a star after recalling other hassles from the start.) Go somewhere else. Especially if you’re short or need accommodation. New Age Dentistry/Dr. Grewal is excellent. Family & Cosmetic is generally unimpressive. Additionally, I was horribly uncomfortable in the chairs, which are obviously made for men (anyone surprised?). Not only am I 5’3”, I also have orthopedic issues and pain from my neck to my sacrum. I explained to the hygienist, who was reluctant to try to accommodate me. I think she gave me a pillow for lumbar support. It wasn’t enough. I told her that I couldn’t come back because I couldn’t take the discomfort. A month later, they send this letter. Are they trying to say, “we’re not fired, you’re fired!”?? It’s unnecessary and frankly antagonistic. And I’m guessing the “positive environment” bit indicates that complaints are highly unwelcome. Btw, if you could send this dumb letter, why couldn’t you send an ROI? You referenced one in the letter!
