Fells Point Dental

Made a an appointment last month- provided my insurance details and was told I was in-network. When I arrived on my appointment date- about 30 days later- was told that my insurer did not include them in-network or even out of network. One would think this information would be verified BEFORE my actual appointment to avoid me or them wasting time. Seems like a nice place to have dental care, however a much better approach to comprehensive customer service is needed.

I don’t usually leave google reviews but had such a pleasant experience I felt compelled to share! Probably the most patient, honest, and compassionate dental care I’ve ever received. My dental hygienist was very friendly and thorough and Dr. Chitilian was the nicest dentist I’ve ever had! She made sure to talk me through everything and get explicit consent on everything she was doing. It meant a lot to me she gave me a choice while still offering her professional recommendations. The front desk also told me the pricing of everything before I agreed to it! It was very fairly priced. Cannot recommend enough

I first called Fells Point Dental because I had concerns about a large cavity and was worried I may need a root canal. They were able to get me in same-day for a brief consultation where after X-ray Dr. Grooms went over my results in detail and we were able to create a personalized treatment plan. I was scheduled to be seen the next week and but was soon called and offered an earlier appointment due to a cancellation. I am generally nervous at the dentist and Dr. Grooms and her team did a great job comforting me and I felt in good hands the entire time. After my first filling with Dr. Grooms she took maternity leave and my care plan was switched over to Dr. Chitilian who didn't miss a beat in moving forward with my fillings. I have since had 2 more filling appointments with Dr. Chitilian who just like Dr. Grooms did an amazing job managing any anxiety I had regarding my teeth and prioritizing my comfort. The front desk staff here is also always excellent. I appreciate their warm demeanor and small talk when I enter the clinic. Josh and Chanel who typically man the front desk for my appointments are both very pleasant and very clear regarding pricing, insurance authorizations, and scheduling. At one appointment there was an incident with a disgruntled gentleman who was causing a disturbance at the front desk and I felt that the front desk staff managed the situation with great poise and respect. Chanel, who was primarily the person interacting with him, was very respectful and clear with him despite his actions or speech toward her. Once he left the staff did apologize to me for the situation. I was very impressed by how her and the other staff handled the incident.

I've been a patient of FPD since I moved to MD. I love the office and everyone who works here. My hygienist, Emma, and Dr. Anderson are so kind and wonderful. They're always willing to work with me on a plan that's right. The team has always been so accommodating about my kids attending my appointments with me too. I highly recommend Fells Point Dental to anyone seeking a clean, knowledgeable and caring environment.

I visited this office based on a referral from my orthodontist, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. C and her staff were incredibly communicative from start to finish and made me feel completely comfortable with my treatment plan. The entire process was seamless, and I absolutely love my smile now. I had small gaps that my braces unfortunately couldn’t close, but Dr. C handled the debonding and closed those gaps perfectly. She is extremely kind, caring, and patient—truly the best “bedside” manner I’ve ever experienced from a dental professional. I’m so grateful for the care I received and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely listens and delivers amazing results.

Always a great experience here! Everyone is friendly and accommodating when scheduling my appointments. I have had Emma as my hygienist multiple times and she is always extremely sweet and also gentle with my teeth.
