Fenway health is amazing because it truly thinks of its demographic. The hours support the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community and they are always willing to listen and understand. Their services are cheap because everything is paid via the pharmacy so when you get a prescription filled, most of the money goes to the clinic. Which feels AMAZING. They are my one stop shop for dental, behavioral health, and PCP. Would definitely recommend
Established primary care here recently. Overall a good facility with helpful staff. However, I feel like many of the staff, including clinicians, seem very burnt out and visits do feel a little rushed.
In general the staff are overworked and do not have the resources to provide exceptional care, even though most seem to have the intention of doing so. Aside from that, I want to caution everyone to AVOID DR MULTANI AT ALL COSTS! I had been going to Fenway for years because of their commitment to the LGBTQ community (now no longer including T, but that's a whole other conversation). Over my several visits with Dr Multani, she became increasingly antagonist and combative toward me regarding my condition and my concerns relating to it. I left each appointment feeling worse than before, honestly I cried each time after the last few visits. I no longer go to Fenway Health because of her. I cannot stress enough DO NOT SEE DR MULTANI! I now go to Atrius Health. They have an LGBTQ care network there, and each and every doctor/nurse has been immensely helpful, considerate, and professional.
I have been a patient at Fenway for a long time and have always had great experiences. Today I needed to get blood work done in OBGYN, and to say it was difficult to complete would be an understatement! We had two medical assistants, Xhulia and Cindy, work with us, and they were both exceptional. Xhulia went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and okay throughout and was so calming through a stressful process. Cindy also came to check in when we came back hours later to finish the blood work. They were both so kind, so thoughtful and so supportive. I am so grateful to both of them and hope to get them again at future visits!
I’m deeply grateful for the care I received at Fenway Health. The doctors and nurses were incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. I truly felt respected and understood throughout the whole process. They helped me face the fear and shame I was carrying about my condition, and they did so with so much warmth and compassion. Thank you for making me feel safe and supported.
As a patient of nearly 10 years now, I'm so thankful for this place. They provided life changing care without any hassle & in general are super easy to work with! Ralph Vetters is the only doctor I've had my entire adult life & I wouldn't want it any other way, him & his team are the best! He always lays out all the options & lets me decide which is something I've always appreciated. He is so laid back & talks to you like a person not like a doctor which is comforting & makes everything more comprehensive. He makes me feel seen & heard, feel like the treatment is tailored towards ME & not just a generalized, unpersonal treatment. I also went through Fenway for a surgery & that entire experience was very smooth, easier than expected & I'm SO happy with my results. Again, I'm so thankful as a trans person to have access to a place that provides a lot of gender affirming care. They even mail me my HRT as it's very hard for me to get into the city & unrealistic to do once a month. And I get to do Telehealth appointments for the same reason which is much appreciated & eases a lot of stress revolving around appointments for me. Ignore the recent negative reviews written by non patients. And if you are here to be one of those people, I suggest re-directing your energy to places where you can make a change, this is helping no one & just endangering access to HRT for even MORE people.
