First Coast Oral Surgery - Jacksonville

I had 2 implants done today ( lower molars ), I get high anxiety and I am out right scared when in comes to oral surgery! Dr. Skigen and his assistant Ashley did such a great job from the moment I walked through the door, as well as his administration staff. I appreciate everything to ensure I was comfortable and removing some of that anxiety.

Saturday, 7/11/2026 Employee on call was very professional - she listened, confirmed, quickly took action, & followed up to keep me in the loop. Great service! Also, the receptionist who checked me in & the assistant for my procedure were both excellent! They explained everything clearly & made sure that I was satisfied & comfortable. Again, great service!

Was greeted extremely rudely… something about $519. I don’t have any money, working with a doctor on anything shouldn’t go unpaid. insurance… idk 🤷‍♂️

This clinic is absolutely amazing. I was referred here after seeing my dentist and another specialist, so I was a a bit hesitant to see a third person for the same issue. Scheduling was easy and they managed to get me in rather quickly. Front desk staff is so nice and answered the numerous questions I had. The dental assistants are so friendly throughout the whole process as well. Today I had a biopsy done and everyone was so reassuring throughout the whole process. My nerves were getting the best of me but they were so helpful and one even held my hand during the procedure. I’m so so thankful and impressed at not just the customer service, but the genuine care from all the staff. This is a team that cares about what they do.

As with past experiences, everything went well. No tooth extraction is fun, but Dr. Skigen and his staff made it seem seamless. There was very little discomfort and the process was quick. They made me feel comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. The level of service I received was truly above exceptional. Dr. Francois and his assistant was not only skilled and thorough, but also took the time to ensure I felt at ease and understood my treatment. I just had my bottoms Wisdom teeth extracted today and all I can say is that ever since I walked in through the offices door for my initial evaluation everyone treated me so well! Everything is so organized and the reception staff are so kind! Gotta given-it up for Dwayne for preparing me after I was nervous and calming me down (sorry for my reaction after I woke up from the Anesthesia lol) and Dr.Skigen who did my amazing surgery. 10 hours have passed and feel like I didn’t have anything removed. 10 out of 10! For you guys. Recommend it a 100%

Staff here is sharp, very organized, even funny (Charlie), and it has been a very positive experience both times I have been here. I had a very impacted and stubborn wisdom tooth that needed to go and Dr. Skigen got it out so fast and totally pain free. It was amazing! Dr. Skigen is a master of his craft. It is extremely rare that I say that about anyone and it is always well deserved. Thank you for helping me, Dr. Skigen and Sophia. You guys made my day much better than I anticipated! Keep up the great work!
