I called and made an appointment with First Family Dental with Dr. Ikem on 3/10/25. Faith the office manager answered the phone. She was very pleasant, professional and asked me for my insurance info and let me know I needed to fill out some forms. She let me know my appointment was at 3:00 p.m on 3/11/25. Faith reassured me my cleaning visit was fully covered with my dental insurance The dental hygienist Daniela was very pleasant, professional and made sure I was comfortable. She took some x-rays of my teeth and was very quick and gentle. I met Dr. Ikem the dentist and he is so nice, professional, very thorough in letting me know the procedure in cleaning my teeth. He told me that he could see that I took very good care of my teeth! This made me feel great because I was very nervous at first. I was afraid he would find a problem but he did not! He was quick and very gentle while cleaning my teeth. He also has excellent bedside manner. The office lobby is a bit small but there is also another waiting room inside the office. The exam rooms are of accurate size and very clean. The dental chairs are very comfortable The office is very clean and smells fresh. I cannot wait for my 6 month cleaning in September. I recommend Dr. Ikem for a dentist. His staff with Faith and Daniela are amazing and professional. I was very impressed with my dental visit! Thanks again. 🙂👍🦷 I went for my second cleaning on 9/16/25. I was kind of nervous at first because I really don't like to go to the dentist. I became more relaxed when I went into the office. Dr. Ikeem is very gentle and he explains everything before he begins cleaning my teeth. He let me know I had 1 cavity and I would need two fillings. At first, it was a little painful but then Dr. Ikeem made sure it went a little smoother. I was glad it went well. Dr. Ikeem made sure I was ok before I left. The staff is all very courteous, professional and pleasant. I will be returning in March for my third teeth cleaning. Dr. Ikeem did explain that the sealant is use to protect my teeth. Thanks again to Dr. Ikeem and the staff at First Family Dental. I recommend this dentist. 😁

I originally visited this dental office as a recommendation for my child who needed some dental work. Dr. Ikem as incredibly kind and patient to my 7 year old, taking the time to explain everything in a gentle and reassuring way.The visit went smoothly and my child felt comfortable the entire time. I have also had some work done at this dental office and have been extremely pleased with the service I receive. Dr. Ikem and staff, especially Daniela, are consistenty exceptional with their work. The office is welcoming, clean, and organized. I truly appreciate the care and attention I received and would highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for quality dental care.
We have found our forever dentist! Since we got here 6 months ago we have been to two other dentists and neither of them felt right. First Family Dental felt right from the moment we walked in the door. Everyone that works there is amazing and we couldn't ask for a better dentist. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Never felt awkward. They took such good care of my children ages 7 and 11. They were able to get the dental work they needed done right away and I never heard a peep of discomfort. Things that I was told were issues with my teeth in the past by other dentists were quickly debunked by this dentist. I can't say enough good things and I will be continuing to come here and recommend them to everyone. Thank you First Family for such a great experience.
