About Flawless Dental Group

Flawless Dental Group provides dental care on Oxford Avenue in the Northeast Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less. The best dentist office I have ever been to. Everyone is professional they listen to my concerns get me in and out in a timely fashion. Always pick up the phone. From the receptionist to the manager they are all amazing and I will follow them wherever they go. I had horrible experiences in other offices which kept me from going in to get much needed treatment. Once my dentist was so gentle and understanding I didn’t even noticed how fast he worked on my mouth. I’m always scared but he administered my needles with ease and understanding of my fears. Thank you flawless

This is the worst dentist ever. Today my mother was seen for tooth pain and needed her tooth removed. The dentist did not listen to our concerns and treated my mother as if she was an object. My mom was in pain and groaned when the dentist tried pulling her tooth. The Asian women she had as a dentist said to my mom " if you keep whining we will not do the rest." We decided to end the appointment and left after she basically dehumanized my mother. Never have I ever experienced such horrible care.

The worst practice I've ever been to. First, I just had a cleaning where only the bottom row of teeth were cleaned, while the top row was untouched. I was asked after the bottom row was complete if I would like to have extra work done on a specific tooth, and I said I wasn't interested today, I just wanted to do the cleaning. After I said that, they said okay you are all set to go. That's it for today. I was very confused. My top row of teeth are still stained the same as they were when I came in. They were untouched. It was never mentioned in any possible way that I wasn't getting the top row cleaned. This was the first cleaning I've ever had in my life where only one row of teeth was cleaned. In addition, the cleaning itself was the messiest I've ever experienced in my life. The excess water was not being dealt with whatsoever. My ears were actually filling up with water. I had water dripping out of my ears during and after the cleaning. My entire back and chest is completely drenched in tooth water. I've never experienced anything like it. I've never had a cleaning where I was so filthy afterwards that I felt like I couldn't even go inside my car to drive home due to how soaked I was in tooth water. At all other dentists I've been to, there's usually a few drops on your cheek, maybe a drop on your neck. Other practices are generally very delicate and fragile. They never get anything on your clothes. Yet, after this cleaning, I am completely soaked as if I just got out of a pool with half of a cleaning done.

I brought my boys to Flawless Dental for their first exams and I couldn't be more impressed! They made them feel very comfortable throughout their exam and cleaning. The dentist only recommended what they needed, and taught them how to take care of their teeth to avoid cavities that were starting to appear in their baby teeth. Most places would have drilled on the spot! Such a relief to have an honest dentist. Definitely found our home!
