Dr. Powless and the entire team at Florida Special Care Dentistry are exceptional at treating special needs patients. They treat my son with such care and for the first time in years he got X-rays done. We are very happy to have found this practice.
Dr. POWLESS is excellent in all the ways, knowledgeable dentist, compassionate and great disposition. My daughter has autism and Dr. POWLESS takes care of her dental health and sometimes when necessary she news to be under sedation. The dental hygienist, Yaneisy does a great job and she is very patient and finds her way with my daughter challenging behavior. The front desk is great and they go out of their way to help with paper work and insurance benefits. We love Donna!
All is great as always except for some reason somehow my upper right lip got clipped. It is very sore with a cut. Also there are two teeth that have rough spots next to.the gums.
We had a great experience with the doctor and his team. They were kind, patient and made us feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk who checked us in was unwelcoming. Her attitude and little comments came across as unprofessional, which was disappointing because the rest of the team was wonderful.
Dr. Powless and staff are truly amazing!! They have been a true blessing to me and my daughter who has Angelman Syndrome. Always attentive and caring to her needs .

The crew at Florida Special Care Dentistry is exceptional! Been going there for 20+ years--quality never wavers. Kind, considerate, professional, and caring. Dr. Dave is the best around! Kera was so patient during my daughter's recent surgery. She knew I was stressed so she explained everything to me (several times) and made sure I was set to take my daughter home. They consistently go above and beyond.
Always friendly, clean, efficient, and thorough. New improvements and additions to the office have made it even more relaxing.
