Best dental experience I have ever had! It all starts at check-in and continues to check-out. Manny at check-in recognizes me by name and is super friendly and professional. MJ, my dental assistant, is kind and gentle and puts me at ease over my embarrassment with losing a crown. Her humming to the music relaxed me in a stressful situation. I trust Dr. Helmet’s judgment to make my smile the best and she explains everything in an easy to understand manner. Dr. Helmet took the time to come up with the best solution for my teeth and was friendly and calm. My worries were listened to and I was fit in quickly into the schedule. Affordable, compassionate, and professional—you can’t go wrong with Manny, MJ, and Dr. Helmet!

They were fantastic!! I was traumatized by a horrible and painful experience at Swish Dental last year and afraid to go back to the dentist at all. But everyone at Forest Family was amazing and gentle, taking care when examining and cleaning my teeth, and checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I can’t remember my hygienists name but she was lovely and Dr Mahmud was one of the best dentists I’ve seen. She took time to explain everything she noticed during the exam and I felt comfortable asking questions knowing she was giving honest answers. I didn’t feel pressured to commit to any treatments and they clearly explained what things could help and what would be “nice to haves” or purely aesthetic. I will definitely be coming back here from now on!!

I went in for an emergency dental tooth ache, front desk were very response, and had me taken care in minutes. They were very attentive and empathetic of my pain, and started the procedure asap. Dr. Erik Meckel was phenomenal, he guided me through every process and procedure and helped me make the right decision, he even done the procedure immediately to relieve the pain, and was very helpful. Really thankful for the prompt response and understanding. And especially the staff were super kind, and was checking with me throughout the procedure, couldn't imagine any better than this. I'm out of that excruciating pain just as the doctor said and am feeling better already. Really grateful for the service.

Came in today for a 6 month checkup/cleaning. Misty at the front desk greeted me by name immediately. She claimed she recognized my face but I think she's actually a secret magical witch because no way someone has that good a memory. Either way pretty awesome service. Oh the my dentist (Dr. Helmick), hygenienist (Brenda), and dental assistant (Mena) were all pretty excellent also. No spooky memory witch magic lIke Misty but awesome nonetheless.

I love going to Forest Family for my dental appointments. I mean literally. I feel comfortable with them and I trust their judgement when it comes to dental treatments. Dr Helmick is my Dentist and she is very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and takes full ownership of my dental treatments (a rare and wonderful quality). I went in with a mild case of periodontal disease and with no knowledge of dental self care. I have not only been fully treated for the disease but also educated about oral hygiene and that has significantly improved my dental care routine! ❤️ They do not recommend treatments unless absolutely necessary, and do not approach patients with a mindset of making the extra buck. I visited another highly rated dentist clinic before I met with Forest Family and my experience there was terrible. So, I feel happy to have found an amazing, trustworthy dentist here in Austin.

For the last couple of years we have had the honour to have Forest Family take care of us. This team is the best group of human beings you could wish to take care of you. They are always nice, helpful, human and kind. We always feel listened to, taken care of and clearly explained what the situation is. This fantastic group of people is in our corner, doing their best every day and in every possible way. We are lucky to have them taking care of us. I usually avoid calling names (am also horrible with names), but I have to call out: Kara, Misty, Jasmine and Brenda. In all honesty — I wish more people would be like you. We love you!

I've been a patient with Forest Family Dentistry for over three years, it's been the best dental experience I've had. From the reception staff to the dentists, everyone is professional and provides an excellent patient experience. I've had several fillings done with them which have held up perfectly. When I had an issue with TMJ, Dr. Bethel got me in next day and was able to quickly identify the cause and provide a treatment plan. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dental office in the Austin area!
