About Front Street Dental House

Despite the name, the door is Suite 1 at 311 Ontario Street, east of the downtown retail blocks on the corridor that carries traffic out toward the Ontario Street plazas. Follow the address rather than the name if you are navigating for the first time. It is a general practice with a clear tilt toward aligner orthodontics and implant dentistry, run by a small team that plans treatment case by case rather than off a fixed menu, and it draws both walk-up downtown patients and drivers coming in from around Perth County.

Clear aligners are the treatment this office leans into hardest, and having them done in a general practice rather than by a specialist changes what you should ask. The dentist takes the scan; the movement sequence is then drafted in software by the manufacturer's technicians and returned for the treating dentist to approve, alter or reject. How closely that plan is interrogated is the whole job. Ask who reviews it, and ask what happens when teeth stop tracking, because they often do. Ask too where the referral line sits: crowding, spacing and old relapse are comfortable general-practice territory, while skeletal bite discrepancies and teeth needing bodily movement through bone belong with an orthodontist.

The other half of the practice is restorative and surgical: implant placement and restoration, extractions and minor oral surgery, crowns and fillings, plus routine hygiene and children's appointments. An implant is a commitment of time as well as money. The titanium fixture needs roughly three to four months in bone before it can carry a crown, longer if the site had to be grafted first, and the crown is a separate stage after that. Implants do not decay, but the gum and bone around one can still be lost to plaque, so it is a maintenance commitment rather than an end to dental visits. Whitening is on the list too, subject to a limit worth hearing early: the gel acts on enamel and on nothing else. A crown, a veneer or a white filling holds the colour it was built to, so anything already sitting in the smile line stays at its old tone once the teeth around it have lifted.

Emergency dental care runs on its own line, and the new-patient section sets out financing and insurance options in advance rather than leaving cost to a chairside conversation. The schedule is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, with weekends closed — workable if you can take a mid-day slot, awkward if your own day only frees up after five.

A general practice at Suite 1, 311 Ontario Street with a pronounced tilt toward Invisalign clear aligners and implant dentistry, alongside oral surgery, children's appointments, whitening and routine hygiene. Emergency care runs on a dedicated line and financing options are set out for new patients. Weekdays only: 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday, 9 to 4 on Friday.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it called Front Street Dental House if it's on Ontario Street?
The trading name and the street address are simply different. The practice goes by Front Street Dental House, and its door is Suite 1 at 311 Ontario Street, east of the downtown retail blocks. If you are following a map or a rideshare pin, search the street address rather than the business name. The office line is (226) 766-5241 if you would rather confirm the entrance before your first visit.
What happens if my teeth stop tracking with the aligners?
It is common enough to plan for. When a tray stops seating fully and a gap opens at the biting edge, the planned sequence has run ahead of what the tooth actually did. The remedy is to stop, take a fresh scan and have a further series made, often with the bonded attachments reshaped so the plastic grips better. That is called a refinement, and the thing to settle beforehand is whether refinements sit inside the quoted fee.
Does the office see children and handle emergencies?
Yes to both. Children's dentistry is listed as a service, so a family can keep checkups at one address, and there is a separate emergency line for pain, a broken tooth or a lost filling. Hours are weekdays only - 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday and 9 to 4 on Friday - so a Saturday problem means either waiting until Monday morning or seeking urgent care somewhere else.

I’m so glad I switched to Front Street Dental - I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. Their whole team is exceptionally kind and they go above and beyond to make the whole process as easy and welcoming as possible. I have kids on the spectrum as well who have had the best experience with the staff.

I cannot say enough good things about Front Street Dental. From the very beginning, their team handled my dental anxiety surrounding my wisdom teeth with so much patience, compassion, and professionalism. They made me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for every step of the way They also fixed my broken front teeth, and for the first time in a long time, I actually smile confidently again. What has impressed me even more is the exceptional continued care with my Invisalign treatment, even after I moved to PEI. They’ve remained supportive, responsive, and committed to making sure my treatment stays on track despite the distance. The entire team is kind, skilled, understanding, and goes above and beyond for their patients. I’m beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for me and would recommend them to absolutely anyone — especially people with dental anxiety.

Front St Dental in Stratford is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, our experience was, once again excellent. The staff were incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming. They did such a great job with our dental care — everything was explained clearly and done with care. Our three kids also had their checkups, and the team was fantastic with them — patient, gentle, and made them feel completely at ease. It’s not easy finding a dental office that’s great with both adults and kids, but Front St Dental truly delivers. We drive in from Mississauga. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly, professional dental office.
