Gallardo Periodontics and Implant Dentistry

I am terrified of the dentist and I recently had an implant . Needless to say i was a wreck. The procedure and recovery was much better than expected. Thank you Dr. Gallardo and Daniel for making me feel at ease.

My experience at Gallardo Periodontics. From my very first visit, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was in excellent hands. I had a dental implant, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The procedure was incredibly smooth, comfortable, and, to my surprise, completely pain-free. The doctor was exceptional—highly skilled, caring, patient, and attentive. He took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. The staff is equally amazing. Everyone is professional, welcoming, kind, and attentive. You can truly tell that they care about their patients and take pride in providing the highest level . I am extremely grateful for the care I received and would recommend Gallardo Periodontics without hesitation to anyone looking for outstanding periodontal or implant care.

Great doctor and staff no complaints 10/10

I wish I could give them an extra star, and I'm not just saying that. And here is why: I was diagnosed with advanced periodontitis 2 weeks prior to my appointment with Dr. Gallardo. For 2 weeks, I felt that my teeth were going to fall out every time I opened my mouth. Dr. Gallardo called me personally the evening before my appointment. This made me feel much better, and I even slept well that night. Upon arrival, each parking space had a sign reading "For Doctor Gallardo's Patients," which if you know the scarcity of parking spaces in Coral Gables, should make anyone feel special I walked into Dr. Gallardo's office highly doubting anyone could save my teeth, the victims of my neglect. Right from the beginning, Sandra told me that their first priority is to save my teeth. The "E" word (extraction, yikes!) was not even whispered, so I could tell they would only turn to that as a last resort. Sandra was amazing: knowledgeable, friendly, empathetic--everything a nervous patient like me needed at that difficult time. Once checks and X-rays were done, I met Dr. Gallardo who went over my case. He told me exactly what was happening, made sure I understood, and asked me if I had any questions. He was never in a rush, (in fact, I felt that he would've liked to speak to me for more time.) When I asked the question that had haunted me day and night for the past week: "Can you save my teeth?" Dr. Gallardo said yes, and that I was a good candidate for LANAP. He then explained my one-year protocol step by step, made sure I understood, and let me ask any questions. I am a 46 year-old man, and I will admit that I was ready to walk out crying after being told I would lose my teeth. Instead, I will admit that I cried in Dr. Gallardo's office from the happiness that I will be given the chance to take care of my teeth for the rest of my life (a point which Dr. Gallardo made clear.) And then, for the cost, I had the pleasure to work with Mariele for financing options. She did everything to help, (even called a credit provider for me!), got me the loan, explained the terms, and gave me advice on how to avoid interest charges. Thanks Mariele! On the way out, I was given two roses to take to my wife and mother. To anyone reading this: Dr. Gallardo and his staff are not only professionals, they are amazing human beings, the people you want next to you during hard times. I am tearing up again, so I'll end by saying: when Dr. Gallardo calls you family, he means every syllable in that statement. Thanks Dr. Gallardo. I can't wait for surgery day! _______ Update on day following LANAP Surgery: I am feeling so much better already. I arrived at Dr. Gallardo's office 20 minutes before my appointment, and I was called and seated 10 minutes before schedule. Dr. Gallardo himself introduced me to the team that would be working with me through my surgery. Thanks Catherine! Amazing person and great and knowledgeable dental hygienist. I hope to see her in future visits. Thanks Cassandra! She stayed with me until my wife came to pick me up, made sure my wife understood future steps since I was still a little loopy from the process. Cassandra took me in a wheelchair to our car and did no leave until she was sure I strapped in and safe. Today, I feel like a new man. Very little pain (if any,) and clear instructions and how to take care of my gums until my follow up in a little over a week. Thanks Dr. Gallardo! I promise I will do my part, since you and your staff went above and beyond to save my smile. See you soon! ___ Just returned from my follow-up! Sandra saw me and let me know my gums look great (pinkish, even!) Sandra helped me the first day I went in (when my gums were a wreck,) so I was happy to see her know that my gums are healing. I had gum surgery at this place and I highly recommend it. The doctor is very professional and explains everything very well and clearly. Marielene and the other staff are also very kind and caring, especially Marielene. They're a great team. The dental hygienist who does the cleanings is pregnant; I don't remember her name. She's a very nice girl, very kind to me today and every time I go, and very professional. Thank you!

My experience with Dr. Gallardo and his staff has been superb. This was my first full implant procedure with Dr. Gallardo, and I could not be more impressed and pleased with the result and with the high quality of care received. It is very apparent that he and his highly trained staff are motivated and engaged in delivering excellent individualized patient service. Dr. Gallardo is very thorough and thoughtful and will ensure you are very comfortable in all phases of the process including before and after the implant procedure, which was free of any discomfort. On occasion, he would reach out to me directly to confirm that I was responding well. Dr. Gallardo’s staff also are unique ,frankly, they are reachable, knowledgeable, accommodating and always sympathetic, which for me has been greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr Gallardo; he will serve you well.

Dr. Gallardo's skill and demeanor are in a league of his own. From our first meeting, I knew I would be in good hands. Add his " can't do enough" professional team and follow up has me insisting my friends have any periodontal work performed by Dr. Gallardo. I know this may sound a little much, but in today's times when something or someone is exceptional, an executional review is warranted.

Gallardo Periodontics has what I can only describe as a dream team staff. Everyone who examined my oral health, who was part of my visit, or who I spoke with, was extremely personable, kind and professional, starting with the front desk. This says a great deal about how Dr. Gallardo runs his practice. The office is impeccable, with an attention to detail, like few I have seen. Their standard is excellence. This also matters to me. Dr. Gallardo has a lovely, gentle, and extremely personable chair side manner. He spent a good deal of time with me explaining his initial findings. It was not a rushed consultation. I felt listened to as I shared my wholistic way of life, even if my views/life experience are not something he’s versed in. I’m going back for a 2nd appointment in a few weeks where he will share his study of my case. I am not your typical patient in any sense of the word. Having studied the human body in depth, as well as many holistic health topics, including biological dentistry since my teens, I always challenge conventional medical practices and ask many questions of the practitioner. I was welcomed to do so in this office. I’m not easily impressed by titles, degrees or certifications. What I seek in a practitioner is their qualities as a human being, their integrity and character. From my initial impression, Dr. Gallardo meets my standards. No small feat. If I end up having periondontal work done here, I will post a follow-up review, but so far, so good!

Dr. Gallardo and his team are amazing and have been a huge blessing to my life. Dr. Gallardo performed my gum surgery 5 years ago and did a fantastic job. My gums are in "better than new" condition. Even though I no longer live in Florida I still travel from Alabama for regular cleanings and checkups. And it's well worth the travel! Sandra has been my hygienist for a while now. She is highly skilled and provides the best and most thorough cleanings I've ever had in my life. She is kind and truly cares about her patients. Maria and Mariele, in the front of the office, have helped me to resolve several insurance and payment related matters. They are kind, always follow up and are quick and eager to help. I'm very thankful I found Dr. Gallardo and his awesome team and highly recommend them!
