General dentistry in Little Havana on SW 1st St Miami
Smyleee Rating
Very Good
Southwest 1st Street in Little Havana at 1334, ZIP 33135, runs parallel to Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) a few blocks to the north, cutting through the residential and commercial fabric of one of Miami's most historically significant neighborhoods. The 1334 SW 1st Street address places Garmen Dental Care in the Little Havana community, serving the Cuban-American and Latin American families who have made this neighborhood their home across generations.
Garmen Dental Care provides general dentistry to patients in Little Havana and the surrounding communities. In a neighborhood defined by close-knit social networks, strong cultural identity, and the intergenerational bonds of the exile community, a local dental practice builds its patient base primarily through personal relationships and word-of-mouth — the same mechanisms that sustain restaurants, barbershops, and bodegas on the neighborhood's commercial streets.
General dentistry encompasses the preventive and restorative range that all patients require: professional cleanings to address the tartar and calculus that home care cannot remove, diagnostic X-rays to identify structural and bone health conditions before they become clinical emergencies, fillings for early to moderate decay, crowns for more severely compromised teeth, and the ongoing examination that monitors oral health across multiple years of continuous care.
In Little Havana, Spanish-language care is a practical necessity, not a value-add. For patients who communicate primarily in Spanish — particularly older Cuban-American residents for whom English remains a secondary language — a dental practice that operates entirely in Spanish is not simply convenient but essential to effective clinical communication and informed consent. Garmen Dental Care's presence on SW 1st Street in the heart of the neighborhood makes it an accessible local option for this community.
The SW 1st Street address at 1334 is on a commercial corridor that serves the surrounding Little Havana residential grid, with parking consistent with the neighborhood's strip-commercial format. For patients in ZIP 33135 and the broader Little Havana community, Garmen Dental Care provides a locally rooted general dentistry option on this quiet corridor parallel to the famous Calle Ocho.

I had an excellent experience at this dental clinic. From the moment I arrived, I felt well cared for and treated with kindness and professionalism. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. The clinic was very clean and well organized, and it was clear that they follow all the appropriate hygiene and safety protocols, which gave me great peace of mind as a patient. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt confident in the care I received. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality dental care in a safe and welcoming environment.
I truly recommend this location.Nice environment, and clean facilities. From greeting to service, everything was great. Victor at the front desk was attentive and friendly also Miss Franco was professional and transparent . I’m very grateful, thank you.
Great, great Dentist team! I highly recommend! The staff is great especially Victor & Mara! They have made my dental journey a great process, I will be coming here for all my dental needs. Thank you to Garmin Dental for everything!
Best staff ever! Victor was very nice and helpful in my first visit and Dr.Morales is an amazing doctor. The treatment plan they provided was very thorough, well-structured, and highly effective. The team is extremely professional and trustworthy, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process
Be careful about this dentist!!! Highly dishonest and try to rip patients off. I had my dental cleaning every 6 month and I have a good dental insurance plan. However when I go to dental cleaning in this office they initially told me it’s free, and told me come back for cleaning next week for another cleaning. They however when I was in the parking lot, the receptionist who told me it’s free suddenly came out with a charge of 250 and told me next week we need to do “deep cleaning” and will charge me for the visit next week. I dont want to pay for 250 so I tried to cancel the appointment, then they told me 250 charges was actually for my first cleaning and deep cleaning was done??!?!!!!How come a 30 mins cleaning is considered deep cleaning? If deep cleaning is done on the first visit, why did you ask me to come next week? The dental office is very dishonest. Do not come to this dental office at all cost.
