Gateway Dental of Coral Way

I had a tooth extracted that I had been putting off for a long time. My friend Vir recommended the place and she was definitely right. Dr. Herrera was very kind and patient, and the whole staff is great.

I have been coming here for over 25 years. Dr. Miranda is wonderful. But the office staff think they can change your appointments and then lie to you. So disappointing and disrespectful. Considering looking for a new practice that treats their patients with respect.

I really enjoy going to this dental office. In fact, after my last appointment, I commented to a friend about how good of an experience it is. Everyone is friendly, informative, the wait time is practically nothing, and they really care about their patients. The Front staff, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Pablo Miranda are outstanding.

My mother needed a crown for one of her teeth. Susana, the dental assistant was exceptional! She took her time and did an amazing job with mom. Even though it was time for the office to close and employees to leave, she never rushed. Measure after measure, working meticulously and so much care, she did the temporary crown on my mom. Never getting tired, never complaining, always smiling! My mother and I are beyond grateful of Sunana and the whole team!

They say they "care for the patient" but what it seems they care about is billing the insurance. No individualized care at this office. Also, they are so careful to cover patient names upon check in at the front office but hygienist leaves her week's worth of patient name and last names clearly visible with a patient in the room for a prolonged period of time while she is out (hipaa violation). I guess there are only certain things they do "by the book". It has also been dirty other times I have visited.

BE CAREFUL WHEN APPLYING TO A LOAN WHEN GIVEN AN ACTIVE TREATMENT PLAN. I went to Gateway Dental for a Consultation on 8/20/25. I was very happy with Dr. Steven Perrotti. I was given an Active Treatment Plan and offered at the same time a breakdown with a Payment Plan choice. Unfortunately to me, I thought I had taken the right decision to apply for a 12 month Loan with Cherry Technologies with a Monthly Payment Plan of $89.23. HOWEVER, within a few hours after, I decided not to go ahead with the Treatment Plan and hold off on it. I contacted Cherry Technologies on the same day and Gateway Dental the following day to ASK FOR A CANCELATION OF THE LOAN. As noted on the Active Treatment Plan THERE IS A 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. WELL, TO THIS DATE, I HAVE NOT BEEN HELPED AS I HAVE BEEN THROWN AROUND LIKE A PING PONG BALL. I CALLED ALMOST EVERY DAY, HAD SPOKEN TO LISA, LAURA & LAWTON. WROTE AN EMAIL TO KAREN, THE OFFICE MANAGER, WHO HAS NOT HAD THE COURTESY OF EVEN RETURNING MY CALLS. I SUBMITTED A REFUND REQUEST FORM ON 8/21/25, REPLIED TO Cherry Technologies and complied with their request that the REFUND NEEDS TO BE PROCESSED BY GATEWAY DENTAL and to this date I have not received a notification to CANCEL THE LOAN. IN THE MEANTIME, I WILL BE CHARGED EVERYMONTH THE AMOUNT OF $89.23 FOR SERVICES THAT I AM NOT GOING TO GET. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED. I hope that someone will respond to this review as I will report this clinic to BBB, to my dismay and other organizations, if needed. I WANT MY LOAN TO BE CANCELLED!

I have no words to express my gratitude to Gateway Dental of Coral Way. Dr. Victoria Herrera is the best dentist I've ever met. She gently walks the patient during all procedures and is always one step ahead. She treats patients as family and is the epitome of perfection and dedication, explaining and infusing confidence all the way. I highly recommend Dr. Herrera and will always have her as my first option. I also want to commend all the personnel especially Karen, who is always ready to help with professionalism and human spirit, and Leo, Cary, Vivi, and all of them. My wife and I want to emphasize the way we were treated at Gateway Dental Coral Way, always as family. In our last appointment after all procedures were done, we left with sadness because we wanted to be there forever. We can't wait to see them again for our next hygiene appointment.
