Gausmann Family Dental

I’m so glad we found Gausmann Dental. They have provided excellent care to our family so far and we will continue to go back for future dental needs.

Dr. Gausmann and his staff are top notch. My previous dentist retired from this location and Dr. Gausmann took it over. My experience has been fantastic. They always take great care of me and go above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable with the procedures. They also do a wonderful job of working with my busy schedule. I would absolutely recommend letting Dr. Gausmann and his staff take care of any dental needs or concerns that you have.

My entire family has been going to Dr. Gausmann for several years now. Every time I have had questionable areas in my teeth, he has done a great job assessing the risk and giving me the pros/cons of potential options to address it. Every fix has gone successfully and glad he's keeping an eye on things.

Dr. Gausmann recommended a crown to be put over my tooth that had a filling to keep the tooth safe and from not having any filling eventually falling apart. That crown fell out yesterday while eating Easter candy. It has been exactly 3 yrs and 4 months since the crown was put in. The receptionists tried to tell me it had been 5 years even after giving me the date I got it which was 11/30/18. I called today to find out about cost and when he could put crown back on. They could not tell me if it would cost me any money or if they would charge me if everything was good and it only needed glued back in. They didn’t ask me any questions, if I was in pain, if the crown was in one piece or if my tooth in my mouth was in one piece. They wanted to give me an appointment 7 days later. They never suggested how I was supposed to eat within that time frame. I didn’t want to wait 7 days to fix this issue. The receptionist said Dr. Gausmann could see me for a half hour to assess situation but not do anything to help me. I said yes that would be better than waiting 7 days not knowing what to do. She then offered me an appointment in 6 days. This is not a way to run a business. I found another Dentist that took me in today to help me get my crown back in ASAP. It’s important not to break my tooth in my gum. Apparently they didn’t see the importance of this. I will not recommend going to this dentist.

We love Dr. Gausmann and his staff, our whole family (even extended family) sees him! Dr. Gausmann is very thorough and is all about preventative care and I fully appreciate that. I have family members that have had fillings and dental work from other dentists that was sub par and Dr. Gausmann did a great job fixing their work for a long term solution, not just a temporary fix and at reasonable prices. He’s very good about educating you about your teeth and taking the time to answer any questions you have. I’ve always felt cared for and safe at each visit. We recently started taking our daughter at age 2 for dental visits and the staff is awesome with her and she feels safe and has a positive experience each time. She looks forward to picking out a prize each time from the treasure box and talks about it for days after!
