I've been a patient here for two years. The entire staff, from front desk to clinical are AMAZING. Usually see Dr. Volkin (she completed two of my crowns in office and they are perfect); Citlalli, who restores my teeth to glory each visit. This week, I chipped my front tooth and Dr. Kaplan was able to see me the next day. She is truly gifted and my tooth looked even better than before! Thank you so much, GMD team, you all set the bar for how a dental practice should be!!!

During my visit, I had an exceptional experience. The front desk was very welcoming and made sure I was checked in and helped immediately. My hygienist, Arielle, was amazing at her job. She was incredible at explaining everything that was being done during my cleaning and constantly asked if i was doing ok. I don't like going to the dentist but I will return here because of my experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! My mom’s dentist retired, and since this place was near by her house she decided to try it. So what started off as a someone looking for a new dentist, and getting a regular cleaning instead ended in a financial nightmare. They took full advantage of my mother. She went there for a cleaning which she gets regularly so we know her teeth are well maintained. And they scared her into getting a root canal and 3 crowns. They ran up her insurance as much as they could. My mom doesn’t speak the best English and they seen that she is somewhat of a gullible person so they took full advantage of her! And they made sure she didn’t leave till she signed a contract to finish the work. These people are scammers. Long story short after throwing anything they can including the kitchen sink to bill her she ended up with a total of 15k in charges! And having to pay 5K out of pocket! When she was just there to get a regular cleaning. So again do not send your parents here who are vulnerable. Or just stay away! I live in Illinois so I’m so upset. Otherwise I would be at their door step! I’m contacting BBB asap and legal advice for deceiving and possible price gouging.

I had an amazing experience at this new dental office! Everyone was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I came in as a new patient for a deep cleaning and a quick cavity filling, and everything went smoothly. Natalie was a fantastic dental assistant and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Soofi was professional, thorough, and did a great job with my cavity filling. Arielle was an excellent hygienist and made my deep cleaning experience as comfortable as possible. Leilani was also incredibly helpful when it came to going over the cost and payment options. The whole team was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. I’m very happy my wonderful girlfriend recommended this office and would definitely recommend Natalie, Dr. Soofi, Arielle, Leilani, and the entire team to anyone looking for a great dental office!

Citlalli was amazing! She’s so sweet and is great at what she does! The doctors were all so sweet and attentive! Such a lovely place!

Dr soofi was very nice and put me at ease have a hard time with going to the dentist. They were very calming and caring kept making sure I was not in pain. Will keep for my dentist due to the interaction with staff all staff is polite and professional very good customer service which is hard to find anywhere nowadays

Glendale Modern Dentistry is a “well oiled machine” the staff leaves their egos at the door and they focus on the patient and their needs. I would highly recommend this dental practice for all

When our family dentist recently stopped accepting an employee sponsored insurance plan, we decided to try Glendale Modern Dentistry. The experience did not go well! I am sharing my story to inform others that they can find better oral care elsewhere. In mid-June, I went for my first check up and cleaning at Glendale Modern Dentistry. Upon arrival, I learned that required, pre-appointment forms had not been emailed. As a result, I would have to complete them before my appointment. No tablet computer was provided, so I was left to fill out the forms on my personal cell phone. The task was made more difficult due to a lack of internet service in the office. I was told to connect to Dunkin’ Donuts WiFi, which again had a poor signal. Eventually, I stood outside in the 100+ degree heat to complete the series of forms. Next, an extensive set of X-rays and photographs taken. Then I was escorted to an exam room where the hygienist hurriedly performed periodontal charting. I attempted to explain that I was very anxious, and usually the hygienist numbs my mouth to avoid discomfort that occurs during my cleaning. The hygienist seemed to lack empathy, and told me that she would prefer to try doing the cleaning without a local anesthetic first. Next the dentist reviewed the X-rays with me, indicating that I have no cavities. When the time finally came for my cleaning, the hygienist refused to perform the service unless I agreed to the following additional procedures: - Scaling and Root Planing -Adjunctive Pre-Diagnostic Test that aids in detection of mucosal abnormalities -Fluoride Varnish -A laser treatment (which she eventually admitted was unnecessary) Again I explained that I was very anxious, and that for this first visit I simply wanted a local anesthetic with a standard teeth cleaning. It was important that I gain confidence and establish trust in the hygienist’s quality of care. The hygienist repeatedly refused to do a basic teeth cleaning unless I agreed to the additional procedures, so I eventually left the office without my 6-month cleaning. Of course now my insurance has now been charged approximately $1700 for the X-rays and exam, and I am left without the routine cleaning for which the appointment was intended. At the same time, my young-adult son was being seen in another exam room. This a young man who takes good care of his teeth and has had routine dental appointments every 6 months his entire life. His experience resulted in an out-of-pocket charge of $85 for an unneeded deep cleaning. The hygienist also recommended he get a laser treatment, but eventually said that it could be done at a follow up visit instead. Glendale Modern Dentistry is not interested in quality health care. They seem to be much more focused on up-charging people for unnecessary services. Save yourself the inconvenience and expense by going elsewhere!

One of my upper front teeth chipped. I went online to see where my insurance recommended. I am so glad I found Dr. Kaplan and her Assistant Natalie! My first visit and I walked out with a beautiful front tooth. Looks like the chip never happened! Highly recommend Dr. Kaplan. She communicates effortlessly and is very knowledgeable.

Glendale Modern Dentistry is the place to go. I've been to different dental offices and always felt like a number and uncomfortable but this place is where I'll be going from know on. I feel like a patient not a number. The doctor's and staff members are the best in my book. Give them a chance and I'm positive you'll be satisfied.
