Goehring Dental

As a long term patient I've been very happy with the services provided to me.

I came here and got $17k worth of dental work done. They had been negligent in telling me my financial options despite me telling them repeatedly that I needed all information in writing and when the day came for my first sedation appointment there was confusion and frustration that did get solved, though was not necessary if Marci did her due diligence. The first procedure went fine and the healing went well, but they had budgeted 4 hours of work for 2 root canals and some fillings and ended up only doing 1 root canal and not finishing the fillings. We got a credit towards the next procedure and that was sorted. The day of the second procedure comes and there is still confusion over what is a credit and what I actually owed, but we figure it out and it goes fine. During the procedure, I wake up from the IV sedation before they are finished and have my eyes open and am even able to move, though I can't verbally communicate. I had expressly told them multiple times (and told them to note it in my file) that this has happened before and that if I am opening my eyes there is a problem. I am ignored, and when the procedure is over I tell them that I was able to feel what they were doing, hear the instruments they're using and their talking, and had opened my eyes and moved (which Dr. Goehring just scolded me for moving instead of realizing that it is an issue I can move at all) and I am immediately gaslit. I told them that this is my experience and Dr. Goehring immediately gets defensive and says I am accusing them of something that they didn't do and what do I know about the patient notes that they have on file. I immediately shut down because a male doctor telling a disabled woman that she's wrong about her own experience is nothing new and if I escalate the issue, I'm only going to be gaslit further. I get wheeled out without them even rinsing my mouth out of all the blood and leaving dried blood all over my lips, without so much as a sorry.

I've been seeing Dr. Goehring for 18 years now and I cannot imagine my teeth and my life without him. He is very caring, kind, personable, all around great person and doctor, and always available when you need him. Thank you Dr. Goehring for being so dedicated to your patients and your staff and I really appreciate you and the whole office team very much, couldn't do it without you all, thank you so much!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Joella if you need Nightlase treatment for sleep apnea and/or snoring. She is kind and caring and seems to love her job. She is the most cheerful and upbeat dentist I’ve ever met. Kelland, her engaging sidekick, distracts me from the discomfort with her fun dialogue. A great duo!
