About Good Shepherd Clinic

Good Shepherd Clinic provides dental care to underserved patients in the Midtown Oklahoma City community from its clinic at 222 Northwest 12th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103. Northwest 12th Street in the Midtown district of the 73103 zip code sits near the core of central Oklahoma City, close to the medical corridor anchored by the OU Health Sciences Center and the Oklahoma Health Center campus, making the clinic accessible for patients throughout the urban core communities of central OKC.

Good Shepherd Clinic operates as a mission-driven free or low-cost clinic serving patients who lack dental insurance or the financial resources for conventional private dental care. Dental scaling — the professional removal of calculus and plaque deposits from tooth surfaces and below the gumline — is among the core services provided, addressing the gum inflammation and disease that progresses silently in patients who cannot access regular preventive dental care.

Scaling and related periodontal cleaning services are particularly important for underserved populations, among whom untreated gum disease is significantly more prevalent than in insured populations. Early intervention with professional cleaning reduces the infection burden in the gums, prevents the bone loss associated with advanced periodontitis, and helps patients maintain their natural teeth. Eligibility criteria and appointment processes at free and charitable clinics typically differ from private dental practices.

Northwest 12th Street in Midtown Oklahoma City is served by EMBARK bus routes connecting Midtown to downtown OKC and to the broader city transit network, and is accessible from the N Walker and N Shartel corridors serving central OKC. Good Shepherd Clinic is a charitable dental resource for uninsured and underserved patients in the Oklahoma City urban core seeking preventive dental care from a mission-driven free clinic.

These guys were amazing I'm about to have to reach out to them for help again. The last time I had three teeth pulled on the right side and I had very little pain and spent less than an hour in the chair.

Excellent service! Everyone was so nice, and chill. I had 3 teeth pulled with 0 pain. I would refer this place to anyone. I am beyond grateful this place exists, and there's still genuine people in the world.

These people have changed my life. I came in to get all but 9 of my teeth extracted because they were broken, infected, and causing me so much pain. Dr. Bath and the two students that did my extractions were so reassuring, and they even stayed late to help me. I came in feeling broken, and left feeling like hopeful, better me. My quality of life has already increased dramatically. No more pain, no more infection. Thank you. So much.

My husband had 7 teeth pulled at one time and it was just $20! No insurance. They are fantastic dentists and soon to be dentists. My husband's was so much more complex, that the dentist took care of him and with it being his 3rd time ever to a dentist. He was terrified. Now he has a new outlook on dental work.. My husband had a few of the back ones cut out and sutured as well, and it only took a little over 1 hour to do it! This place truly is a blessing!
