About Governor's Park Dental Group
Set up on East 9th Avenue in Denver, Governor's Park Dental Group runs as a general-dentistry practice set up for the everyday work most patients actually need. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves adults and kids in one familiar place. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a Denver dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with.
Service coverage spans the standard general-dentistry breadth: routine cleanings and exams, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, basic extractions, and gum-disease management. The practice also handles in-office whitening for a cosmetic refresh when patients need them, alongside the routine preventive work. Restorations lean conservative — composite material rather than amalgam — and most needs are kept in-house, with specialty referrals reserved for cases that genuinely call for them rather than offered up front.
If you're choosing a long-term general dentist rather than a one-off appointment, this is a practice set up for ongoing patient relationships.
Cost positioning sits in the typical Denver general-dentistry range, with most major insurance plans accepted and clear pretreatment estimates before restorative work begins. Patients searching for family dental practice in Denver, routine dental care in Denver, or general dentist near me in Denver commonly land at neighborhood practices like this one — generalists rather than narrow specialty offices. It suits families wanting consistency over many years, patients who value predictable scheduling, and anyone who'd rather have one trusted dentist see the same teeth across decades than rotate through a corporate group practice. The Denver location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks.
Governor's Park Dental Group on East 9th Avenue in Denver runs a general-dentistry practice covering cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, and basic emergency care for adults and kids for Denver families.

Staff was amazing and my teeth feel super clean! Office was really cool too, probably my favorite dentist I’ve been to so far and already can’t wait to come back for my next visit!
Beautiful building. Full staff n LOTS o available Appointment slots. Dr. Ryan was friendly n discussed all of my options. Thx
I was a new patient and had an implant placed by Dr Ryan today and by tonight I totally forgot I even had a procedure done and stitches lol! He was So thorough but quick with the work and painless plus his assistant’s Bri and Mia are so warm and have amazing chair side manner and compassion. I wasn’t in the chair forever ever which was a major plus, But everyone there made the time there really comfortable. the super friendly office staff, Eli and Ronni, were very helpful with checking me in and explaining the services and payment and that Made the checkout so smooth. I don’t even need anything for pain. Such a wonderful experience for a procedure I was so nervous about having.
0/10 don't recommend. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent place to go and I received fine treatment. I chose this practice because it is a covered entity on my insurance. I went in and was told I needed a different type of cleaning. They upsold me on fluoride which is not necessary and not covered for adults. And they billed my insurance for a non-standard cleaning that was not covered. Then told me it is my responsibility to know what is covered by my insurance. I know that a deep clean is covered, but they billed for a gingivitis cleaning that is not covered. Now I need to find a new dentist.
I'm not sure the low reviews are warranted. My hygienist was about as thorough as I've ever had - fastidious recording details about every tooth during my intake visit. My time with one of the dentists was more efficient than usual - and like those low rating reviews, mostly an upsell to Invisalign - however, I'm a good candidate for it and it will solve a real medical problem for me. I'll update this review on my return trip, but for now I'm satisfied with the cost/benefit, the team's skills, and overall atmosphere.
I was a bit hesitant about starting with a new dentist, so it took me a while to find the right fit. The team at Governor’s Park Dental Group has been friendly, professional, and welcoming from the start. They made the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. Great experience overall, and I’m glad I found them!
Governor’s Park Dental Group has a clean and professional office with a comfortable atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the appointment process was pretty smooth. The dentist explained things clearly and made the visit feel less stressful. Service was good overall, though dental visits can still feel a bit uncomfortable depending on the treatment. Overall, a solid dental office with a professional and welcoming feel.
Front desk staff were welcoming, assistant and dental hygienist were both friendly and kind, and funny too! The dentist was in and out. Overall very welcoming and comfortable environment. You can hear other patients and staff talking but everyone is having a good time (as much fun as you can have at the dentist)
Easy 11/10. Wonderful, friendly, professional and respectful people. I hate the dentist normally but I actually look forward to coming here now. They couldn’t have done a better job.
