Always completely satisfied after every visit Thank you to the entire office for my visit today !
Prompt professional, and friendly service!
They are great staff and doctor I would recommend them I had no problem with them
I thought I was going in for a general cleaning, which ended up being a thorough examination. Scheduling mishap! Dr. Asked me not to shoot the messenger.
I've had my appointment cancelled twice at the last minute and tried to reschedule with them. The first time never communicated when I arrived. The second time they did communicate and called me the day of no dentist or hygienist available. I feel disappointed and chose this place not only because it was close but the great reviews that it had and they are great when they are staffed. I was very flexible with day and time. But not having my teeth taken care of since October 2025 is time for need to look somewhere else. Anyone who is going with this provider expect one to two months wait and the risk of cancellation. You'll have to proactively call them to see if there's appointments available.
I love this office! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable. They took the time to thoroughly explain my care plan and clearly walked me through all of the costs associated with it, so there were no surprises. I really appreciated how patient, professional, and caring everyone was throughout the visit. Highly recommend!
I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but after multiple experiences over the past few years, I felt it was important to share ours so others can make an informed decision. My wife and I used Great Expressions as our primary dental office because it was the closest location that accepted our insurance. Initially, the experience was acceptable, but with each visit the professionalism, communication, and overall reliability noticeably declined. The front office staff frequently appeared to be involved in interpersonal drama, gossiping about coworkers, hygienists, or providers within earshot of patients. It created an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment that did not inspire confidence as a patient. The hygienist I personally saw performed competent dental work, but the overall patient interaction consistently felt cold and disconnected. Appointments were often almost entirely silent from start to finish, with little effort made to create a welcoming or comfortable experience. As someone who manages a healthcare clinic myself, I understand how important culture, communication, and patient experience are. Unfortunately, this office consistently felt low-energy, disorganized, and lacking warmth or cohesion. Ultimately, the reason we decided to leave was the repeated lack of reliability and communication. Between my wife and I, we had three consecutive appointments canceled either the day before or the same day because there suddenly was not a hygienist or doctor available. These appointments had been scheduled months in advance, yet there never seemed to be proactive communication or any meaningful effort to accommodate patients affected by the cancellations. I understand that staffing challenges happen in healthcare, but repeated last-minute cancellations and poor communication demonstrate a lack of respect for patients’ time. I can tell that the main woman up front works hard but has a lot to manage just on her own. After giving this office multiple chances over several years, we finally reached the point where we could no longer justify staying. I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative dental offices if reliability, professionalism, and patient experience are important to you.
Got some compost bonding on my front teeth with Dr. Acorn and Sonya and they were fantastic! They answered every single one of my questions and made awesome professional recommendations. They ensured that I was satisfied with their work, and oh man am I satisfied. I have a brand new smile and I feel so confident. They did a wonderful job and I can’t stop smiling. So satisfied!
Posting this so others can make an informed decision. At a recent visit, I was told I had four cavities and that I needed a "deep cleaning" (scaling and root planing) due to Gingival infection. These recommendations were presented as medically necessary and somewhat urgent. The plan total? $1014.50 Based on past experience with corporate dental chains, I chose not to proceed and instead went back to my previous independent dentist, whom I trust and had originally found years ago after a similar corporate dental situation elsewhere. That second evaluation was clear and thorough. Findings: * No cavities * No periodontal disease * No need for a deep cleaning * Normal exam and gum measurements The appointment ended with a routine cleaning, scaling, polish, and evaluation. No additional procedures. No treatment plan. Because none were needed. No cavities found. This was not a close or subjective call. The procedures recommended at Great Expressions were simply not supported by the independent exam. I understand dentistry is a business, but it is also healthcare. In large corporate practices, incentives can matter, and in my case, unnecessary procedures were recommended. If you choose to go here, I strongly suggest: * Asking for probing depths and clinical findings before agreeing to a deep cleaning * Requesting clear, itemized explanations for any recommended procedures * Getting a second opinion before proceeding I'm glad I trusted my instincts and verified everything elsewhere. Others may not realize they should.
