My experience with Dr. Woods and the staff at Great Expressions Dental Centers - Fayetteville was outstanding! The dental procedure itself was excellent. I had two root canals completed, and Dr. Woods did an amazing job. The procedure was smooth, professional, and virtually pain-free. I truly appreciated the level of care and attention that was provided throughout the treatment. Unfortunately, I experienced an unexpected adverse reaction to the anesthesia. However, Dr. Woods and his staff responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine concern. They immediately monitored my condition, checked my blood pressure, administered oxygen, contacted emergency medical services, and continued to monitor me until the paramedics arrived and assumed care. My blood pressure was elevated to a level that caused concern, which led to the decision to call the paramedics. They also contacted my family and kept them informed throughout the situation. My family came to the office, and I greatly appreciated the staff’s compassion, professionalism, and concern during this time. I was transported to the hospital for further evaluation, where I remained until my blood pressure eventually returned to a normal range. Thankfully, everything turned out well. What impressed me most was not only the excellent dental care I received, but also the way Dr. Woods and his staff handled an unexpected medical situation. It was a very frightening experience for me and my family, but their professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern for my well-being helped us through it. Dr. Woods even personally followed up afterward to check on me, which meant a great deal. That level of care and commitment to patients is not something you see every day. I am truly grateful for the excellent dental care I received, as well as the exceptional concern and support shown to me and my family. My mother had a temporary bridge placed at this office, covering three teeth near the front. When she returned from the office, the bridge started to feel loose. She was very careful afterward and followed all post-care instructions, including avoiding hard, crunchy, and sticky foods. However, the bridge came out completely the next day while she was gargling. Because the bridge involved front teeth and temporary cement from the drugstore was not working, this felt urgent for her. When we called the office for help, we felt the receptionist was dismissive and not flexible, despite the fact that the temporary bridge had just been placed. The only option offered was a morning appointment the next day, which would have required my mother to take a full day off work. When we explained that she could not make that appointment, we were told to cement the bridge ourselves. We ended up going to a different dental office, where they made her a new temporary bridge. That office took their time, adjusted the bridge multiple times, and checked with the dentist to make sure the fit was appropriate. From what we observed, that level of checking and adjustment did not happen when the original temporary bridge was placed. The original appointment felt rushed to us, the bridge felt loose, and we did not see the dentist do a final check after it was placed by the hygienist. When we asked for help, we did not feel treated with care or professionalism. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I understand temporary dental work can sometimes come loose, but the communication and response afterward were very disappointing.

Dr Woods was exceptional in putting me at ease prior to my root canal. He explained the procedure in simple to understand terminology. It was painless as he had promised. The staff was equally as nice and receptive upon my arrival and when I left. Highly Recommend this practice!

I have been going to Dr. Woodrick for years. As a widow in my mid 80's I am very cautious of service providers. I have to say, few dentists have ever earned my respect and loyalty like Dr. W. Always a pleasure, friendly and positive. The staff is amazing from dental hygienists to front desk and admin. I only wish more dentists could visit this office and learn what quality service and performance is all about. Dr. Ash expertly performed an Extraction of a ruputured tooth, Bone graft, and gum tissue regeneration. Whew! Fun times. He and his team were lovely.Explained each step taken. . Set the mood with some nice music (John Maher-Waiting on the World to change. Old fav). Dr Ash is calm, cool and confident, presenting an assurance that he knows what he's doing. I've had no pain during nor after my combo procedure. Luv the staff and team at the Fayetteville office.
