Not sure what happened to this office. They cancelled my mom’s appointment without ever communicating it to her, never called her back or rebooked when they said they would, she’s been billed for appointments that were completely unnecessary, and her doctor clearly never remembers what he has determined at her prior appointments. Will not be returning anymore.

Update 9/3/2026: Dr. Barton and the staff are all so friendly and professional. I would not trust my eye health to another optometrist or company. I always receive excellent care. Everyone is friendly and professional.

evrey single time you go you need to wait 1:30 and if you are late 30 min they charge you 50 $ . I took my daghter becoue her right side eye was bad ,at the end we left with both eyes bad and Dr goal was just to do surgery and here eyes now both bad .

I would like to leave a recommendation for Dr. Mohamed and his staff at Greene Vision Group. I experienced vision loss in both my eyes, 1st my right eye in 2019 and the left about 2 years later. I did not have insurance, but in 2016 I received a voucher to see an eye Dr. I had been losing my vision for a while but he saw nothing wrong with my eyes. Another Dr. in 2024 did not see any cataracts, but I could see nothing. We moved and bought a house in 2025 and found a new Dr. at the end of the year. She sent me to Greene Vision Group to see Dr. Higgins, she immediately saw that I had cataracts and sent me to Dr. Mohamed in the office as his speciality is cataracts. I saw Dr. Higgins on Friday afternoon and she sent me to the front to make an appointment for the next available one with Dr. Mohamed. My husband made a smart joke about how about on Monday and sure enough there was an opening early Monday morning. To be sure, I was not wanting surgery on my eyes, I was afraid. But JESUS asked me if I want to be well and I said yes. So Monday morning we go into Dr. Mohamed’s and he looks into my eyes and sees that the cataracts are at the back of the lens, and proceeds to explain all the testing. His manner was very good, he made me feel right as ease. My cataracts were really thick and all the testing machines could not get an accurate reading and he had to make a guess as to what would work best for me. I was there for several hours as they did all the tests, including an ultrasound of my eyes. He explained everything, including the fact that mine were very thick and he was not sure how much sight that I would regain and we decided to have the surgery and we went to the scheduler and my 1st eye was scheduled for 2 weeks later, drops were ordered, instructions given. The surgery center is downstairs. We arrived and the nurses were wonderful, the anesthesiologist was great. My second surgery was 2 weeks later. I did not feel any of the surgery, I was awake and it was amazing to come into the operation blind and as he finished up, I began to notice the lights above me. As I was rolled out to recovery, I saw and read the EXIT sign! We came home and I could see things as we were driving not clearly but I could see! 2 weeks later I had my 2nd surgery and it was the same and I was seeing out of both eyes. My 1st vision test had me at 20/80 and Dr. Mohamed suggested that we do laser. My eyes were really swelled, I was on 4 different drops and a gel for almost 2 months. I kept seeing Dr. Mohamed, still taking tests and taking drops. When my swelling had still not gone down, we continued the drops for a total of about 5 months. After surgery Dr. Mohamed found some issues with my retinas and macular but at this point they have resolved mostly now that my swelling has gone down. I am continuing on 1 drop for 4 more months and will then see an optometrist at Greene Vision Group then. I also am using a drop for dry eye whenever I need it. All in all, I am completely thrilled to have my vision back. I am now at 20/25 and 20/30. Dr. Mohamed said he will continue to be my Dr. and I am so glad. I thank GOD for guiding us to Dr. Mohamed. He takes the time with each patient and does not rush and I am glad for that. He has a fantastic staff! Yes, it means longer waiting times, but we are so glad that Dr. Mohamed and his staff are so caring and explain every step of the way, and he is honest about what will work or may work or if it is needed right now or something can wait. Dr. Jill Prilliman is amazing - She was so personable and really made me feel like I was her only patient that day! I got a new diagnosis of an astigmatism for the first time and she really took the time to explain it to me, which I appreciated!! I am able to see now better than ever and I’ll be looking forward to working with her again. I returned to the Optical dept at a later date to buy contacts and worked with Anna, who was also great!! She was so easy & fun to talk to and helped me look at my insurance and decide what options would be best for me. Thank you!!! Love seeing so many amazing women working in this office.

Dr Jill is great. But not happy with having to pay up front full amount for glasses that you have to wait and hope they are right. I could see paying 1/2 and 1/2 at pick up. AND for the two glasses I was to pay $691. they deducted my account for one of them twice - deducted from my account $1,110!! And now, I have to wait 3 - 5 days for my refund. Funny, how we have to pay up front-but I can't be refunded in a timely manner.
