About Haas Dental Center
Haas Dental Center is a dental practice on Wall Street in Valparaiso, Indiana. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.
Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.
A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.
Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically. These are my people. I am so dentist scared, major anxiety, but I have been coming here for many years now. Dr.Jeff and Angie, are there for me. They support me through my anxiety and really give me the best experience I can have, tooth work or cleanings. They don’t make me feel stupid for being scared or freaking out during a procedure, they 100% support me, and I am so thankful to have found them. Also my insurance, GEHA, is terrible to work with, they deal with that too. 💯 recommend
My family absolutely loves this place .
I want to just say the staff the doctors are just absolutely wonderful. I had my front tooth basically knocked out. They were so so so kind to me and walked me through everything through all my tears. Called me almost everyday to check in and the Dr. Jeff just made sure I had a great smile back before leaving the office. I can’t say enough about their entire team. Lots of love to you all!
Woman used a drill for cleaning and ruined my enamal years ago. Paying for it big time now. Stay away, this place created my fear of dentists.
I just want to say this place is fantastic! Everyone here is so nice and I have a tendency to be very anxious at dentist and doctor appointments and these guys have been nothing but kind and patient the whole way through! Very thoughtful people and will provide excellent service and the help that you need.
Husband and wife team, extremely nice and professional. Highly recommend their office.
