Han Pediatric Dentistry

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Han Pediatric Dentistry. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming. They do an amazing job of making our child feel comfortable and at ease, which makes such a difference when it comes to dental visits. Dr. Han is the man! He is exceptionally thorough and takes the time to do a truly comprehensive evaluation, while also explaining everything clearly and thoughtfully. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and takes a lot of pride in providing excellent care. We highly recommend Han Pediatric Dentistry!

UPDATE: I wanted to update my previous review having been with Dr. Han for nine years now. Recently Dr. Han made the decision to expand his practice bringing in two new dentists to help him manage his ever growing case load, making it easier for new patients to get in and current patients to schedule appointments. Because of this change I was able to get my daughter in next day to have two baby teeth extracted that were causing her pain. We saw Dr. Harris and she was AMAZING! She was actually taught by Dr. Han at UCSF and is wonderful. My daughter warmed up to her right away. She was gentle and kind and incredibly thoughtful. Dr. Han checked in on the procedure and made sure we all felt well taken care of. Which we did. Thank you Dr. Han for taking such great care of my kids and for being as thoughtful in your practice expansion as you are with every other aspect of your work. So grateful. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have been to several pediatric dentists in the city and Dr. Han is hands down the best. I took my four year old son to Dr. Han for several dental procedures and could not have been happier with the results. My son left each time happy and pain-free asking when he could come back next! . Dr Han is an incredible dentist but what makes him exceptional is his approach and bedside manner both with kids and adults. He is patient, kind, and calm. He carefully explains everything to his patients and their parents in a way that is appropriate and easy to understand. His work is impeccable (coming from a long line of dentists I am incredibly picky) and he does everything in his power to make sure his patients are comfortable (TVs with a Netflix account, coins to get toys from a vending machine, stickers, rooms decorated with kids posters, and I could go on). Simply put - Dr. Han is amazing!

Our first experience was excellent. The desk, the hygienists, the doctor…everything was perfect for making my girl comfortable. Their approach is exactly what I was looking for.

Lovely, responsive staff and a comfortable, clean facility. Dr. Han was fantastic with my toddler for his 1st dentist appointment. My baby typically hates getting his teeth brushed every night, but Dr. Han kept him at ease and fully relaxed throughout the process. He taught us some tips that will hopefully help make our nighttime routine easier.

Dr. Han is a fabulous dentist and makes the experience informative and positive for my children. They left the visit with clarity on how to brush with more attention to the teeth in the back and that it's not about speed or power but about consistency and care. They love visiting the dentist (who says that?!?) and we could not be more appreciative of the intentionality and care Dr. Han has created at his practice. Thank you team!

I truly appreciate Dr. Han for his patience with our son and his commitment to provide thorough care. We’ve not had success in the past with having his teeth actually cleaned by the dentist and I felt like I was using my insurance to burn a half hour of my time for a free toothbrush. Dr. Han used the time our son needed to acclimate to the visit to educate us about overall dental health. While our child had his meltdown, Dr. Han started his exam without tools so our son can adjust. There really is a difference in the care a pediatric dentist provides versus a family practice. Looking forward to continuing and growing with Dr. Han and his team.

I just took my 8 month old son to see Dr. Han because he already has 6 teeth, and wow, what a great experience. Dr. Han was extremely thorough in explaining everything to me before the exam. The exam was quick and efficient, and most notably he didn’t seem in a rush to move on to the next patient, which was so refreshing. 10/10 recommend, honestly looking forward to go back in 6 months.
