Hank Barreto, DMD

I am so happy we found Dr. Barreto. Our whole family sees him, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist for the whole family from 2 to 102, look no further. I started seeing him when I became concerned with my children being exposed to harmful materials and unnecessary dental procedures and I became a patient myself while pregnant because I was told by another dentist that a tooth needed a root canal and there was no other way to save it. Of course, Dr. Barreto not only saved it, but it has lasted several years and two other pregnancies without any more pain or breaking. The office is beautiful and the staff are incredibly kind and professional. Prices are quite reasonable and always transparent. Dr. Barreto himself has such a delightful manner and is so calming. my kids use to have to be tricked to go to the dentist and held down in the chair while crying. Since we started going here, they have no fear or trepidation of any kind about going to the dentist. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Dr. Barreto and all the staff are great. Will definitely recommend him to my friends. I’ve known them for many years and they are always professional, helpful and make you feel comfortable. The office is modern and there’s parking in the same building.

Dr. Hank has been my goto dentist for years, and there’s a reason I’ve been with him more than a decade. He and his staff genuinely care about their patients. I trust him as a patient and with my family. The office is always professional and runs smoothly. A huge thanks to Dr. Hank and his entire staff.

Started seeing Dr. Barreto two years ago in Spring 2024 after I had been searching for a holistic dentist. His office may be THE best dentist office I've ever been to. It's a much calmer experience than one at your traditional dentist office. Soft lighting, relaxing music and they even play fun visuals for you to watch while you're getting your teeth cleaned. Dr. Barreto has such a wonderful energy about him, always asking how you're doing, making you feel very welcomed each time you're there. The only dentist I would recommend in Miami!

Dr.Barreto, his office staff and dental hygienists (Yeni) are great! They are very professional, kind and very knowledgeable. We are very thankful to have found a holistic dentist in the Miami Dade area for our family. Very highly recommend!

I took my child to Dr. Barreto for a consultation, and it was a complete waste of $175. Instead of a helpful, informative visit, I was met with condescension and vague, non-answers. When I asked how he manages pain during a cavity filling, he repeatedly said my child “wouldn’t feel pain” but refused to explain what he actually does to ensure that. What crossed the line was his behavior toward me as a parent. He asked me to leave the room and then reprimanded me for asking questions, claiming I was bringing “fear and negativity” to my child. It is not a dentist’s place to dictate how I speak to or prepare my own child for a medical procedure. That was completely inappropriate and frankly shocking. The purpose of a consultation is to ask questions and understand your options, yet I was made to feel like I wasn’t allowed to do that. Despite being presented as holistic, no alternatives were offered, only a $455 filling on top of the $175 consultation. Between the lack of answers, poor bedside manner, and disrespectful interaction, this visit had zero value. I will absolutely not return and strongly recommend others look elsewhere.

Amazing! Everyone is so kind and professional! They make you feel comfortable, you forget you’re at the dentist office! Dr. Barreto is skilled and was able to save my tooth that I thought for sure was a goner! He also made me feel comfortable and helped calm my anxiety! Now I’m ready to get all my teeth fixed!
