About Hanna Dental Implant Center

Being told there is not enough bone for implants is not always the end of the conversation. Years of denture wear resorb the ridge underneath, and the upper back jaw loses height faster than anywhere else, which is exactly where most people get turned away. Hanna Dental Implant Center on Gessner Road takes on that category of case specifically, including jaws that have already been called unsuitable somewhere else.

Dr. Raouf Hanna is double board certified in periodontology and oral implantology and holds an emeritus clinical associate professorship in periodontics at UTHealth Houston. The centre works on implant dentistry and what surrounds it rather than the full spread of general practice: single and multiple tooth replacement, All-on-4 and larger full-arch configurations, zygomatic implants anchored into the cheekbone when the upper jaw itself cannot hold a conventional fixture, ceramic and zirconia options, extraction and bone grafting. Three-dimensional CT scanning drives the planning, and sedation is available for surgical visits. The office is in Suite 230 at 947 Gessner Road in Memorial City, beside the hospital campus at the I-10 interchange, and weekday hours run 9am to 4pm. That is a tighter window than most practices keep, so surgical appointments are worth arranging well ahead.

Immediate-load treatment, often advertised as teeth in a day, means a fixed temporary bridge is attached the same day the implants are placed. It does not mean the case is finished that afternoon. The implants still integrate with bone over the following months, you eat a softened diet during that period, and the definitive bridge is not fabricated until later, after the gums have finished shrinking back around the fixtures and stopped moving. Missing that distinction is how patients end up surprised by a second phase they assumed was already covered.

Zygomatic implants deserve their own note, because they are a genuinely different procedure: longer fixtures, a different anatomical route and a much shorter list of surgeons who place them. If that is being proposed for you, ask how many the surgeon performs, what recovery looks like week by week, and what the fallback plan is if one fails to integrate. Emergency extractions are handled here as well, including same-day removal when a tooth is past saving.

An implant-only practice in Suite 230 at 947 Gessner Road in Memorial City, next to the hospital campus at I-10. Dr. Raouf Hanna is double board certified in periodontology and oral implantology and teaches periodontics at UTHealth Houston as an emeritus clinical associate professor. Work covers single and multiple implants, All-on-4 and larger full-arch reconstruction, zygomatic implants for severely resorbed upper jaws, zirconia and ceramic options, grafting and emergency extraction, planned with 3D CT imaging. Weekday hours are 9am to 4pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

I was told I do not have enough bone for implants. What are my options?
There are usually several. Ridge grafting rebuilds width where a jaw has narrowed, and a sinus lift adds height in the upper back jaw by raising the sinus floor and packing graft material beneath it. Both heal over months before an implant is placed. Where the upper jaw is too resorbed for either, zygomatic implants anchor into the cheekbone instead. Which route applies depends on what a three-dimensional scan shows, not on a phone estimate.
Does teeth in a day mean the whole treatment finishes that day?
No. Immediate loading means a fixed temporary bridge is screwed onto the implants during the surgical visit, so you leave with teeth rather than a gap. The implants themselves still need months to fuse with bone, and you follow a softened diet while that happens. The permanent bridge is made afterwards, once healing and gum shape have stabilised, so budget and time should be planned around two phases rather than one.
Where is the centre, and what are its hours?
It occupies Suite 230 at 947 Gessner Road in Memorial City, beside the hospital campus where Gessner meets the Katy Freeway, which makes it convenient from Memorial, Spring Branch and the Energy Corridor. Weekday hours run 9am to 4pm, with no weekend clinic. That is a narrower window than many offices keep, so surgical appointments and follow-up visits are easier to secure if you book them several weeks out.

I am incredibly dissatisfied with my experience at Hannah Dental. Over a year ago, I had a tooth extracted here, and I am still experiencing chronic pain in that exact area.Finding the source of the issue required an exhausting and stressful process. I had to visit an ENT doctor three separate times and see three different oral surgeons before finally receiving an accurate diagnosis.Because of the complications from the initial extraction, I now face a corrective surgery that will likely require a bone graft. This entire ordeal is costing me roughly $3,000 out of pocket to fix. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for dental care to avoid these kinds of severe, long-term complications.

Everything went very well for me today. Quinn, the office manager did everything she told me she would do. Everyone has been very professional, including Dr. Rodriguez. Joyce has been the assistant the majority of the time I’ve gone in to be treated. She goes above and beyond and always greets me with a smile. She has a passion about her job that I rarely see. Thank you to everyone.

My name is Noor, and I went to Hanna Dental Implant Center for a single tooth implant. In 2020, I paid close to $10,000 for the procedure. I was willing to invest that amount because I expected high-quality results. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I had to return to the office multiple times because they were unable to properly shade match the implant to my natural teeth. During my last visit for shade matching, the experience became unexpectedly painful and traumatic. It turned into a procedure-like appointment that I was not prepared for, and it left me too uncomfortable to return for some time. Despite all the visits, the color mismatch was never resolved. In 2023–2024, I decided to go back after speaking with my orthodontist, who advised me on steps to improve the appearance and achieve a more natural match. However, I was quoted an additional $2,000–$3,000 to fix an issue that was never properly resolved in the first place. I was also told by a staff member that previous shade-matching attempts were done “for free,” which I found very frustrating, considering I had already paid nearly $10,000 expecting a complete and satisfactory result. I left the office feeling upset and still have an implant that is noticeably mismatched and affects my confidence. I am not someone who typically writes reviews, but my experience here was not a positive one. I felt that my concerns were not fully taken seriously, and that I was not properly cared for throughout the process. Now, years later in 2026, I am still dealing with the same issue. This is not about the money—it’s about the lack of proper care, communication, and accountability for the outcome of my treatment.
