No Happy at all. These people ripped out 11 teeth. Did not give me any pain relief. Tylenol and ibuprofen that don't work.
Whatever you do, please find another dentist!!!! Before I even showed up I wasn’t happy with whoever called me from this facility telling me on the phone that we could only bring me and my son because their waiting room is too small. She was a bit unprofessional and I should've known then. When I showed up this place was very hard to find. Once in the front desk guy was rude, he made me wait downstairs and fill out paperwork before having to go upstairs and wait again. The building is old and very outdated, the elevator is like something out of a 40’s movie. The waiting room in the dentist office is very small and chaotic is the best way to describe it between all the people in and out and other staff using the restroom. Then after waiting for a while we got called in and they tried to have us wait in a so called recovery room which was more like a dirty supply closet because a room wasn't ready yet. Once moved into a real room I also made a note that the room seemed dirty and there was barbed like wire all around the outside of the windows, and mind you it’s a brick building and we were on maybe the 4th floor. While in our appointment a lady in the room across from us was having some sort of medical emergency and hospital staff had to come transport her. Let me just preface this all by saying I felt uncomfortable the moment i stepped in the building. As I moved from room to room I felt more and more uneasy. I didn’t want to be there at all but we were running out of options so I pushed through against my better judgement. Finally the “doctor” showed up and I realized he was actually either an intern or an assistant. I wasn’t happy about it but figured I would see how it went. First he didn’t have clear knowledge of why we were there, didn’t know how many teeth were being pulled, didn’t know my son had asthma, misdiagnosed his infected tooth, and had to go back several times to “consult” with someone more senior than him on the shift to see if he could even do the work. He seemed like someone fresh out of highschool being told to go pull a tooth. He was a very sweet and kind man but it felt like he had no medical training whatsoever, and they were giving this man the ability to work on people. He did have a good attitude and I loved his honesty, but I wouldn't trust him working on anyone, especially a child. This made me doubt their entire facility. I sensed something funky going on here. My son needed anesthesia due to prior traumatic dentist experience and the guy told me he could just get it done the normal way. After explaining to him why we needed anesthesia (the whole reason we were referred here in the first place) he told me they don’t usually do that. After his second consultation with someone else on staff he came back and told me they couldn’t pull my son’s tooth because of his asthma and the risk. By then I had already made up my mind I didn’t feel it was safe for my son or even myself to get work done there. So in the end we waisted a lot of time and energy. My main concern for this practice is patient safety, and cleanliness. I do not trust this dentist facility at all. Some of the staff was very nice, but it doesn’t negate the very serious concerns.
I saw Gail Swanson hygienist today to have my teeth clean. She was excellent very professional. She was thorough not only cleaning my teeth, but with soft tissue exam and periodontal exam. I had a great visit and will highly recommend . Thank You so much Gail, looking forward to see you again.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a medical facility. I came in for a check up after an emergency surgery and ended up running out in tears. When I arrived I couldn’t find the entrance because there’s no signage in the confusing area of the building. They told me the wrong appointment time over the phone and kept referring to me as “early” even though they’re the ones that made a mistake. The receptionist even admitted to not being clear over the phone. I ended up waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes before someone came in. The person that came in did not know what I was there for and said something about an extraction when I was only there for a check up. That’s when I started to get upset. I expressed that I wanted to leave because I didn’t feel safe and that I was frustrated at the wait time. At that point the nurse came in and rudely said “I told you the surgeon was running late because of a surgery!” I responded that she had not told me that and she said “oh yeah maybe I told the other lady”. I would avoid this place at all costs. At best it’s very poorly run at worst it’s not safe. Even the equipment was old and dirty looking. The receptionist was nice and that’s the only good thing I have to say.
Not the best experience. The RD was rude and second guess the diagnosis of her student intern causing a delay on treatment, something that was supposed to be 1 hr turn into 8 hrs. No empathy towards patients. Clerical staff and nurses were excellent and really helpful.
