About Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants

Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants operates on Northeast Fremont Street in the Roseway area of Portland, Oregon. A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants is on Northeast Fremont Street in the Roseway area of Portland, Oregon (97213).
What days is Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants open?

What services does Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants offer?
Listed services at Healthy Smiles Dental Group | We Fix Smiles Cosmetic & Implants include Veneers. The full list is shown on this page.
Can you whiten veneers?
No. Veneers hold the shade they were made in and do not respond to whitening gel, which is why any whitening of your natural teeth is normally done before veneers are made and matched.
Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?
Traditional veneers require a thin layer of enamel to be removed, which is irreversible — the tooth will always need to be covered afterward. Some minimal-preparation options remove less, and whether they suit you depends on the starting position of the teeth.
What causes bad breath and can a dentist help?
Persistent bad breath most often comes from bacteria on the tongue and around the gumline, and gum disease is a frequent underlying cause. Because it is usually oral in origin, a dental examination is a sensible first step.

I’ve been going to Healthy Smiles Dental Group for over 10 years and always leave feeling cared for. Dr Saber is kind and friendly, as well as being an excellent dentist. Laine, the hygienist who cleans my teeth is very thorough and welcoming.

Outstanding service. It's a laid back but professional office with little to no waiting time for seeing the dentist/hygienist. And you can make an appointment quickly without waiting for months as with the large dental providers. Highly recommend.

Health Smiles has been my dental practice of choice for at least 15 years. Over the years, they’ve provided consistent, courteous, high value (cost) care. Each hygienist who has provided care to me has been so friendly and thorough in the cleaning and procedural support. Dr. Demassi was my original, long-term dentist, but after she left the practice, I’ve had great care from a variety of dentists, including Dr. Saber and Dr. Conklin. I can’t say enough about the front desk staff. They are friendly, always greet me by name, and efficient with paperwork, insurance auths, quotes, and scheduling. I’ve recommended Healthy Smiles to my spouse and friends (and would recommend to anyone).

This is the second time I’ve had an evaluation done by Healthy Smiles Dental, in Portland. After I went the first time, I did some comparison shopping for second opinions on the process and cost. I couldn’t find any other dental centers that offered the same procedure, at any cost. I’m going to move forward with them now to get my work done. They’re super nice folks there, and I’m excited to get the work done. They’re very helpful in explaining everything well. I really like Stacey, and Dr. Conklin, and would recommend Healthy Smiles Dental Group to anyone. P.S. I’m not in any way affiliated with Healthy Smiles, nor am I being granted any consideration in giving a positive review.
