Would not go here! They are an upsell factory. They dont care about your health. They care how much they can get you to spend. Their prices are insane, Double compared to other dentist I've been to. Also Evelyn the dental hygienist will get annoyed at you when you do what she says and she messes up. Not a great overall experience.

Needed all lower teeth replaced and decided to go with three implant bridges each on two implants. They said it would take around 4 months. Went in between the Norwalk office and Long Beach office to see Dr. Ghermizi. It took 15 Months for them to complete. I was without teeth most of that time and the temporary denture they give you is so horrible even after adjustments that I could not bear to wear at all. They do not have an in house lab so sent to one lab three times and lab failed miserably. They picked another lab and ensured me this lab is the best. The lab also messed up two times until it fit. On the 5th attempt Dr. Gherrmezi decided to do minor surgery and shave some bone to make the bridge fit. I now have a gap in my gum exposing the implant where you can see the implant so much you can actually touch it and fell the threads. Ghermezi prescribed me a mouthwash to fix but it just gets worse. My new dentist mentioned it does not look like it is in all the way. Now having bone loss in this area and implant will eventually fail. Now replacing all upper teeth but found a new dentist for same price and THEY HAVE AN IN HOUSE LAB. Learned my lesson. DO NOT GO TO A DENTIST who does not have a lab and always negotiate price! I asked if they would be willing to redo the implant and sent a CT scan but after taking maybe 15-20 days off work last year for their mistakes they can not even discuss over the phone. I was at one point called lawyers but could not find one that specialized in dental and was taking new cases. Probably should sue in small claims before statue of limitations expires. Do not trust this place!

I hope this review helps someone avoid the same experience I had with Dr. Sohail (Sean) Hakimi and his businesses Smile Design in Santa Clarita, HealhySmile in Long Beach and La Cresenta. I found them through a Facebook ad offering a free dental visit and very affordable implant prices. What started as a free consultation quickly turned into them trying to keep $1,500 of my money for work that was never done. When I disputed the charge with Cherry (the financing company), the office claimed in writing that they had taken x-rays. That is simply not true — no x-rays were taken. The staff ( Anna Andrada ) have been extremely difficult to deal with. They refuse to put the doctor on the phone and have been consistently rude and unhelpful. If the price looks too good to be true, it usually is. Stay away from this office.

I’ve been to a lot of dental offices over the years, and Dr. Hankins is easily one of the best. From the moment you walk in, the entire team makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The office is professional, organized, and runs efficiently, which is something you don’t always find in healthcare. Dr. Hankins takes the time to explain everything clearly and never makes you feel rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatment. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely cares about his patients. You can tell he takes pride in doing excellent work and making sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire visit. If you’re someone who gets anxious about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. The experience is as stress-free as it gets, and it’s refreshing to find a dentist you can completely trust. I recommend Dr. Hankins to anyone looking for exceptional dental care. Five stars without hesitation.

Unprofessional Unfortunately after I decided to cancel my treatment, I was charged fees that were not authorized under the contract I signed. When I asked the office to identify the section of the contract that allowed those charges, they were unable to do so. The situation caused me a great deal of unnecessary stress and frustration.

Dentist was very nice and knowledgeable. Extremely slow wait times—took 2 hours and was unable to do a cleaning, which is the reason I came in. Office is a bit aged compared to others in the area.
