I have been coming to Heart of the City Dental for years. From the warm greeting when I entered to the friendly hygienist and dentist. I have always had great experiences here.

Front office staff is extremely welcoming and friendly.

I've had nothing but good experiences with staff - from front desk to hygienists to dentists for years. I look forward to their knowledge and expertise and enjoy their cheerful humor and welcoming presence. My teeth are much improved since I found Heart of the City Dental and I'm grateful for their attention, skill and guidance.

There’s a review on here saying the dentists are avaricious (have extreme desire for wealth/material gain) and that’s true. They sell “luxury” but the dentists have horrible beside manner. $75 dollar cancellation fees, “finance charges” to leftover amounts that they don’t tell you about, pushing additional services. My two front teeth died after a fall and I have done everything they suggested. Invisalign, whitening, root canals, and crowns on the front teeth. I was ultimately not happy with how they looked and had cancelled two cleanings because I was not happy with my work I had done. I finally got the courage to call them to say so. They convinced me to come in and get a cleaning and talk to Dr. Heidi and that they would “make it right”. When I saw her, she said it’s like eating an entire meal and then saying you’re unhappy and made me feel so small and humiliated in her office. I’ve spent so much money with them. You would think she’d care whether or not I was happy with the work. Nope, she just said she didn’t want to pay to fix it. I wish I never gave them a penny of my money. Go anywhere else. I do want to say the hygienists are the sweetest and great at what they do. The problem are the dentists/practice owners and managers.

I had a wonderful experience at The Heart of the City Dental! The staff was welcoming, professional. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and was very gentle throughout the visit. I truly appreciate the excellent care and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dental team!

Truly, this the best dental office I have ever been too! Every member of the staff were simply wonderful, nice and caring. This is a very clean and updated facility with some of the newest equipment. The dentist, Dr. Heidi, was very knowledgeable and honest - She clearly knows her practice and is great with communication. I just can not say enough about this office. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist! I read a LOT of reviews and did research to find Heart of the City. I even changed my insurance to be able to check this place out! I absolutely was not disappointed. Plenty of parking available in the shared lot with other businesses in the building. The office is very inviting, clean, and organized. The staff has been top notch throughout all of my communication and visits so far. Major shout out to Jenna, who went out of her way to welcome me, learn about my needs/anxieties, and make sure that I felt at home and safe. She even offered local recommendations since I'm newer to the area. My favorite part of the visit was that they offered a menu of items to make me feel more comfortable in the chair! I chose a stress ball for this visit, but might choose additional items on future cleanings! Why not make it feel like a spa visit? HUGE shout-out to my hygienist, Eriel!! She was probably one of the best hygienists I've ever had. She was non-judgemental, sweet, kind, explanatory, and made sure I was doing well and comfortable throughout the visit. We had great conversation, and I felt like she had genuine interest in making sure I was in a good spot. I'd highly recommend her! Dr. Heidi Smith, was also very friendly and helpful during my exam! Lastly, I think they did an amazing job of being upfront and honest about cost throughout my visit. Anything not covered by insurance was very clearly articulated and I felt like I had full control of whether or not I said yes or no to the options. This is huge, because no one likes to be surprised with a massive bill at the end of your routine service. I can't wait to keep coming back to Heart of the City!
