I had Michelle as a dental hygienist today. This was my first time with her and I was very nervous. I hate new hygienist. However from the start she did a nice job making me feel comfortable. she was extremely gentle with my teeth and explained every step to me. I am so excited that I had her clean my teeth and will recommend her to the rest of my family and friends!

Going to the dentist has never been high on my list and I have not been faithful about going. However, after my first visit to Hedgecock Dental, I feel more at ease and am committed to getting my teeth in better health. We have a plan which makes life easier.

I was greeted by a beaming Chelsea who instantly set me at ease. My experience got better and better from there despite the bad news they had to deliver concerning my dental situation. Their facility is very calming, their equipment very modern and a big change from my past experience in other dental clinics, and between Chelsea and Dr. Raney, I truly felt I was in good hands with people who cared. Hedgecock is my new dental home!
I needed emergency treatment and was seen by Dr. Hany Ahmed and his wonderful dental assistant, Melissa. They were both so kind and gentle & made everything less fearful. I’m thankful to be referred to them & will be moving forward with all of my treatments & cleanings. Thank you for a job well done!
Cannot say enough good things about my experience with Hedgecock Dental!! I reached out to them after a terrible experience with another dental office here in Austin. I was in a great deal of pain after having extractions and developing dry sockets. I was 8 days out from surgery and my pain had only increased. The previous dental office had not treated me for the dry sockets or managed my pain properly, and the entire thing had been a nightmare. I was basically in tears by the time I called Hedgecock Dental seeking a second opinion. They were so incredibly kind from the moment I called to the moment I left their office. They got me in the same day, within a matter of hours. They have an absolutely beautiful office as well, huge windows in the treatment rooms overlooking SW Austin. I saw Dr. Ahmed. He was so gentle and kind, and explained everything in a way that put my mind at ease. He gave me so much assurance and additional information that the previous dental office never gave me. I will continue to see Dr. Ahmed and Hedgecock Dental for all my dental care in the future, they have absolutely gained my trust. 🤍🦷👏
The office was very clean, and the staff at the check in desk was welcoming and professional. Once I was taken back for my exam, I noticed the chair was very comfortable, the equipment looked new and/or well maintained. I loved the technology and my cleaning was very thorough. It was a great experience overall!
The dentist and hygienists are great. The person who handles the financials for patients needs additional training on how to speak to people, how to listen to people, and how to provide quotes. She quoted me a price for a procedure. I paid the required deposit and then she texted me a request for more than $300 more than the original quote the day before my procedure. When I called her to ask what happened she was rude and basically told me to pay it or not. I will not return due to the treatment I received by her which is sad because I liked the dental treatment I was receiving at this practice.
