Higgins Dental Associates

I have been a long term patient of this practice (since 2012 I believe). Their entire staff is the best I have ever encountered. Dr.'s Higgins and White are excellent experienced dentists and care about their patients. I have found them to be very honest about their recommendations. They do not try to oversell procedures that a patient may not need. Their office manager is very helpful and works with insurance to make sure your claims are paid. They also work with their patients about appointment scheduling to help work around a patient's schedule. Their hygienist is excellent and answers questions and helps patients understand what is necessary for proper dental care to avoid more costly procedures. From my observations, everyone enjoys working there and the positive atmosphere helps to mitigate any concerns patients may have about dental procedures.

Always a pleasant experience when I visit my dentist. Dawn & Dr. Higgins have helped me to keep my smile bright for nearly 15 years now. Appreciate and love them both.

Been going here for at least 10 years now. Always have a good experience with the Hygienist staff, Dawn is my absolute favorite, I had Courtney today and she was calm and reassuring. I don’t do well with dental work, but they have helped me to take better care of my teeth so Dr. Higgins or Dr. White don’t have to whip the drill out.

We were referred to Higgins and White by our endodontist in Ponte Vedra, after inquiring if they knew of a great general dentist. (We had struggled finding a good dentist experience with a few offices in the past) We made the drive from Callahan to Jacksonville and are never looking back! Starting from the front desk and appt process, they are kind, organized and lovely. Myself and two teenagers have all had great interactions. The hygienists are truly amazing; communicative, kind and will answer any question. They are gentle and thorough. Both of my children have had at least a filling and/or crown, and have had both Dr. Higgins and Dr. White. They are equally great. Direct, experienced, and HONEST, which is hard to come by, from our past experiences. Both my daughter and son had great experiences with their procedures. I couldn’t ask for anything more in dentist office and will always come back…

Had my 6 month dental cleaning & it went very well. The dental hygienist was Dawn & she is so good & gentle while cleaning my teeth. She is also very professional & personable. Dr. White checked my teeth after the cleaning & she is very thorough & also quite personable.

Moving to a new city usually means a long, stressful search for reliable healthcare, but finding Higgins Dental has made the transition much smoother. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking walking into a new clinic for the first time, but the atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. The team is professional, kind, and most importantly completely transparent. During my visit for my initial examination and X-rays, I really appreciated how they walked me through the process without any pressure; there was absolutely no upselling or pushing for unnecessary treatments, which is a breath of fresh air. The quality of care and the clear communication I’ve experienced so far give me a lot of confidence in their work. If you are new to the area and looking for a dentist who is honest and makes the patient experience a priority, this is definitely the spot. I’m actually looking forward to my future appointments!

This is the best dentist we've ever been to. They're efficient and thorough and I've never felt like they try to sell me on anything that I don't need to do for my dental health. I highly recommend this dentist office. The dental hygienists are amazing and so friendly!
