High Desert Dental

Came in on an emergency basis for tooth pain. I was surprised how beautiful the office was. How safe it felt. Once you enter the building it’s equally beautiful. Clean office, numerous room, polite staff, clear explanations of what’s happening and why. They’re human and engage in and carry on conversations It was a fabulous experience. I’d highly recommend.

I must say that my experience at high Desert dentistry has been Phenomenal. The staff is amazing down to earth, goes into detail about what they will be providing, and make sure that you are extremely comfortable and every aspect of the procedure. I am so grateful for such a wonderful staff and practice. Thank you for everything.

Had an amazing experience today! I went in after breaking a tooth, and unfortunately the rest of it needed to be extracted. Dr. Ozzie and his entire team made the whole process incredibly smooth and comfortable from start to finish. I usually get very nervous when it comes to going to the dentist, but they were patient, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. This was by far one of the best dental experiences I’ve had, and for the first time, I actually feel comfortable coming back. Highly recommend!

To keep it simple my name is Samson. I was recently seen by Dr. Oz and his staff to see if I was a good candidate for dental implants upper and lower arches. My intentions were to just go on a fact-finding mission and of course as any good patient would do then put it off for a year or two or three or four will you get the idea. In short they ruined my plan of procrastinating so be careful when you go in there you’ll experience the same. There’s probably 100 reasons I say this, but let me list 3 so you can be on guard. 1. Their People driven not profit driven 2. As passionate, if not more so excited to perfect your smile and confidence. You can see it in their smile, pun intended 3. Very economical financing with a high caliber vendor. NOT a high risk dental Financer where you leave with great teeth, but need eye surgery from them raking your eyeballs out. Believe me, I was looking for even the most minor critique Thus I would just put it off for another 50 years . The last trick they pull, is prior told me their was a fee for the X-rays. Then said their wasn’t when I was ready to pay. ( of course everyone’s exam may vary, but this is the reason I said people driven not profit driven) I hope you enjoyed the read, dental work should be fun, not fearful. I don't often give reviews but my experience with this office might be helpful to you. From my personal experience, High Desert Dental is the place to come if you need crowns or to replace a missing tooth, as this dentist uses a high quality lab with results that are accurate and long serving. You will be very pleased with the results. After my Albuquerque dentist of 8 years retired, I chose Dr. Ozzie Rodas at High Desert Dental as my dentist in 2025, for these reasons; QUALITY and COMPETENCE. His front office staff knows what they are doing, and Dr. Oz is never late. This is a very professional setting that respects your time. I have extensive porcelain-on-metal cosmetic crowns that are 20 years old that are starting to require replacement. Dr. Oz is doing an excellent job bringing me up to date with beautiful, modern, all porcelain crowns. I also had a tooth removed, then requiring a "replacement". I was presented with all of the alternatives and I chose a (removable) metal partial (see photos). Dr. Oz custom designed this and it fits perfectly and comfortably and is very high quality and will last a long time. Dr. Oz uses a professional, off-site lab that provides excellent quality workmanship. Dr. Oz also has invested in the latest technology to make accurate diagnoses. He is a patient listener and a communicative physician who explains everything in layman's terms. He shows you your x-rays, offers any alternatives, and has an on site dental insurance expert who prepares a written estimate that you can take with you, so, in this office you will always be well informed of your situation so you can make the best decision. Also, the (medical) staff are well trained and experienced professionals. I've had my teeth cleaned here and the hygienist took a thorough series of (computer aided) X-rays, she measured my gums and performed the cleaning and also suggested a special dental floss and toothpaste to help me maintain my dental health. Based on my experiences so far, I would recommend Dr. Ozzie Rodas at High Desert Dental for your dental maintenance and complex dental needs. 😁💖

High Desert Dental is amazing. Professional, organized, and very respectful of your time. I have never had to wait for an appointment to start. The entire office staff is friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are clean and modern. Dr. Ozzie is knowledgeable, personable, and takes the time to explain things clearly without rushing. My hygienist, Miguel, is excellent. Very thorough, gentle, and had a great personality that made the visit comfortable and easy.
