I've been going to this dentist for a few years and just recently I had the best experience. The two dentists, Dr. Son and Dr. Nasrin did an amazing job with my teeth and the dental assistants and admin staff were so lovely and accommodating

I’ve had two extractions so far with Brian Son, and he has been amazing. My first extraction was especially difficult for me because I hadn’t been to a dentist since I was 14 due to PTSD. At 26, I finally decided to return because of tooth pain, and I was extremely nervous. Brian made my first extraction a very smooth and professional experience. I needed oral sedation for comfort, but everything went much better than I expected. When I came back for my wisdom tooth extraction, I didn’t even need sedation just a numbing shot and it went great. Riley, his assistant, has also been incredibly helpful and supportive. She really helped me face my fears and made the entire experience much easier. Both of them have been amazing. Brian is a fantastic dentist. I don’t trust anyone else with my dental care. He always manages to fit me in even when he’s busy, answers all my questions, and does everything he can to make sure I’m comfortable and happy. Riley is incredibly, I love them both a lot, they deserve so much appreciation. Always ask for Riley and Brian and your experience will be amazing trust me yall. I genuinely love this place, and I’m actually excited to keep coming back and taking care of my teeth. Because of Brian and Riley, I’m no longer afraid of extractions, cleanings, or fillings, and I’m very grateful. Thank you both, you truly deserve recognition for your hard work and care.

Edit 06-04-2026: After replying to Highgates request to contact them they wanted to hear my side of what happened. I was told that they'd get back to me in a week. That turned into 2 weeks, no problem. Highgate said they were drawing up a legal document regarding the issue. The offer presented was Highgate would credit my insurance for the visits. Plus I'd have to pay just under $1400 of my own money. All this to receive 1 implant to replace the tooth that was damaged. Completely unacceptable. I will be receiving a $244 (all because of a 4th root btw) refund for the failed root canal as described in my review below. ----- I went in with a cracked filling. Unfortunately my regular dentist who was excellent had left to work elsewhere. During the procedure to repair the filling the dentist was using a very course drill tip. I had to stop him as something didn't feel right. He then filled the chipped area. Usually it's a 2-3 day period of healing. Chewing was impossible after 3 days. I went back and it was determined that I need a root canal due to a crack. That crack was probably made by the first visit. (By the way, I have never heard so many discussions about crowns and root canals from other patients.) The root canal was done 3 days later due to scheduling. Again, I still couldn't chew on one side due to the pain. One week after that I had the tooth extracted as the discomfort was just too much. At the same time the root tips broke off during the procedure which lead to much more pain. I left worse off than I arrived as a tooth was removed. During the 3 weeks of back and forth visits and missing 4 days total of work due to discomfort I can not recommend Highgate Dental. On a side note they were trying to recommend 4 month visits. Also, upselling implants ($3300 for 1 tooth and that's after coverage!), dentures and night guards.

I always have a great experience at HighGate Dental! From cleanings to wisdom teeth removal - every time I have been treated well and promptly. Eva the receptionist is always kind, responds quickly and ensures a seamless experience. All the dentist hygienists were also very kind and have great bedside manner. Recently I had Katie and she was awesome. Dr. Brian Son is the best. He listens to concerns and provides great options and advice. Thanks HighGate Dental for taking great care of me :)

My cleaning with Katie was amazing as always. She is very caring thorough and efficient. She gets 5 stars!! However there is a new receptionist that needs to go! Don’t really care for her rude phone mannerism and heavy accent, makes it very hard to understand what she is saying and she clearly does not know how to do her job. When I checked in for my appointment I waited about 8 minutes in the waiting area, she phoned me accusing me that “ I am late for my1pm appointment” I got up and waved at her while we were on the phone and told her I’m sitting in the waiting room… no apologies she just hung up…. Before this appointment she accused me of not paying my previous bill, when I told her it should be fully covered by my insurance she argued with me. When I asked to speak to someone else, they clarified that there was a delay in payment but my insurance fully covered the cost. This new receptionist gets 2 stars one for showing up to work and the other for trying.

Spoke to 2 female receptionists who is not fit to speak to customers, doesn’t do a good job and is rude. It was a nightmare speaking to them. Felt like hell. Luckily I was introduced to heaven when I spoke to Eva and she turned my 1 star google review into a 5 star. Eva is very understand, respectful and patient. She doesn’t interrupt like the other 2 receptionists did. You’re the best Eva thanks!

I had a very good experience at this dental clinic. The dentist was kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The staff was welcoming and everything was well organized. I will definitely come back.
