I searched hard for a new dentist, looking for one who fit my long list of qualifications, which included using ozone, having a solid reputation and track record, etc. This narrowed down my list to three dentists across LA. I came to Dr. Madhampour for a second opinion and for a cleaning. I'm so happy to say that I found my new dentist. He takes a holistic biological approach to dentistry, which I really appreciate. He sat and answered all of my long list of questions thoroughly, and in one particular case that I was worried about, he actually recommended not doing something (a procedure) that another dentist had recommended and wanted to charge me for. I'm so thrilled to have found this office, and I can't recommend Dr. Monempour more highly.

Dr. Jason Monempour is a TOP dentist. He is extremely knowledgable, professional, and fantastic at what he does. It's not easy to find holistic dentists and great dentists in general. Jason is both. If you are looking for the latest tools and knowledge in holistic dentistry, this is your dentist and office. Jason is also an all-around awesome and kind person you can trust and feel comfortable with. He truly cares for his patients. His office and staff are also wonderful. Scheduling and communication is a breeze and efficient. Holistic Smiles LA is everything you want from a doctor's office. I received excellent care from Jason and his entire staff. I wanted to add to my previous review after completing another round of treatment, specifically for a dental implant. I’m truly grateful to Dr. Monempour and team for how smoothly everything was handled, from the initial extraction and careful preparation for the implant, to the precise placement of the implant and final crown. Each step was clearly explained, thoughtfully planned, and carried out with great efficiency and care. The healing process was much easier than I anticipated, and the final result looks and feels completely natural. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and very satisfied with the level of expertise and attention I received. Thank you again Dr. Monempour for your outstanding work. I went to Dr Monempour because my veneers were really old and had started to chip in multiple places. He showed me a wax model of what my new smile would look like and I must say, I was very impressed. We worked together on designing the shapes of my teeth, he did this by having me go to Beverly Hills Dental Lab where I met with the master ceramist to figure out the best shade and shape possible to match my face, personality, age, complexion and more. Dr. Monempour orchestrated a symphony when it came to designing my new teeth. I am beyond thankful. Dr. Monempour did an amazing job giving me the best smile makeover, beautiful natural looking veneers, I couldn’t be happier with the results. By far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. No pressure, no sales tactics—just straightforward, professional, and transparent care. Dr. Monempour takes the time to explain everything clearly and uses advanced technology to actually see what’s going on—not guess. One of the coolest parts of my visit was their 3D imaging scan (similar to a CT scan), which gives a full, detailed view of your teeth, jaw, and overall structure. It’s next-level and gives you real confidence in their diagnosis. They also use laser therapy, digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras for precision. And if you prefer to avoid X-rays, they offer alternatives whenever possible, including trans-illumination and infrared technology for detecting cavities. The level of care and intention in this office is exceptional. Each room is equipped with IQAir dental-specific air purification systems, they use fresh ozonated water, and Swiss-made Bien-Air electric handpieces. Even their in-office products are thoughtfully curated—fluoride-free toothpaste, environmentally conscious toothbrushes, natural rinses, and ozonated oils. And this might sound small, but it meant a lot—they even placed essential lavender oil on my bib at my request, so while they were cleaning my teeth, I could actually smell lavender. That level of awareness and care is rare. What also stood out was their sense of humor. It made the entire experience feel relaxed, human, and comfortable—which is not something you can say about most dental visits. Dr. Monempour is UCLA-educated, trained at NYU, and SMART-certified through the IAOMT for safe mercury removal. But beyond credentials, he’s direct, knowledgeable, and refreshingly real. He listens, explains, and treats you like a human being. If you’re looking for someone who truly puts your mind at ease—where you know you’re not being overcharged or pushed into unnecessary treatments—this is your guy. He’s genuine, grounded, and his entire office reflects that same energy. If you want a more personal, high-quality experience with someone who is educated, caring, and actually present… you’ve finally found your oasis. Dr. Monempour and his wonderful team, Aurora and Vanessa, are truly exceptional. I’ve had such a positive experience at Holistic Smiles and couldn’t be happier with my care. They genuinely make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Without a doubt, Dr. Monempour is the best dentist I've ever had. Not only does he have fantastic bedside manner towards his patients, but unlike many dentists who will push elective procedures prematurely, he NEVER does - he always lays out your options, provides an objective assessment, and never pressures you into anything unnecessary. You can tell how much care and effort he puts into everything he does. I came to him for a second opinion a few years ago and never looked back! And the office staff and hygienist, Debbie, are also amazing too - everyone is so nice and down to earth and puts so much care into what they do. Cannot recommend Holistic Smiles enough. :)

Dr. Jason is hands down the best! My annual cleaning was spotless, and he actually took the time to show me how to up my brushing game (who knew I was doing it slightly wrong this whole time?). He answered all my questions like a total pro and made sure I was super comfortable the entire visit -- even asked if I wanted the massage chair on (uh, yes please!). If you're looking for a dentist who's thorough, kind, and genuinely cares, Dr. Jason's the one to see!
