You'll call in the day before; go in and sign up for to be seen that afternoon, then you show up ON TIME or even EARLY to your appointment and they make you wait for 1-2+ hours outside in your hot car. I was never seen and they had nothing to say because they're short staffed and are ill prepared to handle anything major.
I’ve been going to Sipi Dental for years, but unfortunately my experience has been less than fair. When I needed a tooth fixed, I was only given one option and not informed of alternatives. They ended up hollowing out most of my tooth and filling it, when it clearly should have been a crown. The doctor never explained this to me, just did the work and took the payment. Later, another dental office was horrified at the work that had been done. When I called back, it turned into a blame game, and I was told, “this is public health, so it’s basically the best we could do.” That’s not an acceptable answer. Patients deserve full transparency and options. Especially here in Albuquerque, where many Native Americans rely on these services.
Pediatric dentist was unprofessional and mean. She made horrible comments about my daughter appearance and wanted to pull 4 teeth at once. I made 2 separate formal complaints nothing has been done nor have even been contacted about the issue. She is the only pediatric dentist and thinks she can treat patients how ever she wants.
Dentist and hygienist are nice. Staff is nice. However scheduling is a nightmare. They call with very limited availability to schedule next appointments. When that doesn’t work and they ask you to call, their schedule is only available for two weeks or completely full. It’s just not efficient. Not sure what they need to do but it’s like they only have 2 dentists on staff and 1 hygienist by the way they operate.
Horrible front office staff and routine. I went in for an emergency toothache at 10:50, was told they don’t start walk-ins till 12:30. So I stayed in lobby till 12:30 to check in again. Got called in at 12:30 and was told they were only taking 2 patients and that I was the fifth one. I told them I’ve been there since 10:50, waiting patiently, and followed protocols to re-check in at 12:30 but they were already accepting patients prior to 12:30 and according to them, we can check in “early” which I didn’t comprehend and was so unfair. On top of that, I had excruciating pain in my tooth and they couldn’t accept that because I didn’t make the “walk-in list”. Horrible miscommunication. Advise those to not go in for emergency dental care
Staff were courteous and professional. As a walk-in, I spent 3 hours altogether filling out paperwork, completed registration, and during the time I waited, the front desk staff were checking up on waiting patients. The place is also very clean and children were kept entertained. Altogether, an awesome experience! ❤️❤️ Unfortunately, they only perform emergency procedures for 30yo and older, no routine check ups which is readily available to individuals ages 30yo and below. Wish they did cosmetic procedures and regular dental preventative procedures. I would go there for any emergency dental work. 👍🏼
