Imagine Dental of NW San Antonio

First of all I want to say that I love the doctors and staff, friendly willing to talk to you. Here where everything goes down hill, called to get a saturday appt, you can never talk to office, all calls go to the call center. The girls that work at call center don’t seem to know what’s going on, and even seem annoyed your calling them, my kids appts were put in wrong, called for a treatment appointment they were put as exam and cleaning. Doctor was able to accommodate which I really appreciated. Scheduled my appointment for the following saturday, get there the waiting room is packed. They took my X-rays and put me back outside bc no rooms were available waited another 20 mins for a room. It already 45 min past my appt start time. When I asked the front desk why they gave me a appt at that time if they don’t have rooms, was told they don’t really have control over scheduling as that is call center. Fine I get that but they had so many people scheduled at the same time. The wait was ridiculous never had a problem like this before. I even saw some patient leave because of the wait time. I honest feel like they are now packing people in like sardine, when I finally got a room you could see the assistant running around like crazy bc they don’t have enough hands to see everyone. As a patient I want to feel valued for my time, not just a number on the schedule. If scheduling and wait times are going to continue to be like this, I don’t think we will be back.

We have been coming to Imagine Dental for about 5 years and their service and quality has gone down tremendously. My daughter had to have 2 fillings done multiple times because they were not done correctly. Most recent I made an appointment for my son on a Saturday at 1:30 PM and at 3:00 PM we still hadn’t been seen. We were in a room waiting for over an hour with no one checking in on us or giving us an update. I attempted to ask two different assistance if they could help me and they both ignored me and kept walking. I then walked to the front desk to ask status as we were an hour and half past his appointment time. She asked for my son’s name and said she’d be right with me with an update. About 10 mins later she walked into the room and said “ I’m sorry I know we made the appt for 1:30 because your son takes longer to get numb (which he does) but the doctor is running behind so she should be her in about 10 mins or you can reschedule.” I advised that we would not be rescheduling and to cancel our future appointments. She said “ok you can follow me out.” I understand that appointments can run behind and I waited an hour and 15 mins before saying something but this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They were overbooked and had no consideration of people’s time as I was not the only one waiting a significant amount of time. Lastly, the room we were in was not clean as there was dirt and trash on the floor. I do not recommend Imagine Dental , save your time and money.

I had an amazing experience at Imagine Dental! From the moment I walked in, Dom at the front desk made me feel welcome with his friendly and professional demeanor. He’s super helpful and made the check-in process a breeze. Monica, the dental assistant, was absolutely fantastic. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. The entire team at Imagine Dental is top-notch. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a place that combines professionalism with a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Great experience! The waiting area is kid friendly. My daughter enjoyed it and was explained every step along the way.
