About Implant Dentistry Periodontics & Facial Rejuvenation

Implant Dentistry Periodontics & Facial Rejuvenation provides dental care on Creel Lane in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Gum disease treatment ranges from a deeper professional cleaning for early inflammation through to more involved periodontal care once bone around the teeth has started to be affected. Bleeding gums are usually the earliest sign, and the early stage is reversible with proper cleaning and better daily plaque control.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway. Is gum disease reversible?
The early stage, gingivitis, is reversible with thorough cleaning and better daily plaque control. Once it has progressed to periodontitis and bone around the teeth has been lost, that bone does not grow back — treatment then aims to halt further loss.
What are the early signs of gum disease?
Gums that bleed when brushing or flossing, redness and puffiness along the gumline, and persistent bad breath are the usual first indicators. Bleeding is the one most often dismissed, and it is the clearest early warning.
What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

I would like to thank the receptionist, Kiara who was VERY helpful, she worked with me and went to 27510 Cashford Circle to pick up materials for my temporary bridge. I would also like to thank Dr. Wall who conducted dental surgery to removed the remaining fragments of my tooth that was left from a previous dental office.

Ugh! Don’t get me started. Was impressed at first visit. That lasted only one visit. Telephone queries take forever for someone to get back to you. They don’t accept your secondary insurance but keep the money you submit for from the secondary insurance and it took over two years to get it back from them. Even so, they found something to charge me for two years later and kept some of my reimbursement money. Don’t be fooled by their welcoming demeanor on your first visit. It’s a strategy to ensnare you and your money, cash or insurance. Also, research the longevity of their options with what is really better for you in the long run.

I found this Periodontics specialists office on Google. I recently had a Periodontal bone grafting surgery. I'm still in my recovery time but Im doing really well with the treatment and the advice they gave me. They answered me all my questions during the appointment prior to the surgery. Dr Cherry 🍒 was very professional as well as her team. Im very happy that I chose this clinic for my surgery.
