About Indian Peaks Dental

Based on West Baseline Road in Lafayette, Colorado, Indian Peaks Dental is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.

Professional teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, applied under supervision at a strength stronger than anything sold over the counter, to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It works on natural enamel only — existing crowns, veneers, and fillings keep whatever shade they were made in. Horrible !!!! I went in for a chipped tooth repair and was told I had a good pocket in another tooth since I’m numb they were going to just fill it to prevent a cavity in future. I have. Had issues with my left side up and bottom few days later went in they tried to adjust it few days later same thing. 3 rd time went in. Tried to adjust it the lady doing my adjustment stated. Well we did that filling u had a cavity. If it’s still bothering you after this you will need a root canal. Um ! No you have litterally trashed my left side my mouth. I’ve gone to 2 other dentist and stated I have to have a correctional night guard and a retainer. Don’t go here ever !!!! Walk away

Indian Peaks Dental is the best dental practice I have been to in all my time in CO, and I've tried many different practices to find the right one. I should start by saying that I have incredibly high standards in a dental practice, since my Dad was an orthodontist. The high level of care I've received from everyone I've encountered at Indian Peaks Dental is a standard that all dental practices should strive for. I first found this gem of a practice when my crown came off. They got me in without delay to have my crown put back on. Since this had happened before, and it was an old crown, the next step was to replace my crown. Dr. Cara and her Assistant, Bailey, went above and beyond my expectations from start to finish not only with replacing my crown, but also in making some cosmetic repairs to the tooth next to the crown. My new crown is absolutely beautiful and looks so real, you would never know it was a crown. Being that it's my front tooth, that was very important to me. I coudn't be happier! Not only did Dr. Cara and Bailey do a fantastic job with my new crown, they were also incredibly kind and lovely to work with throughout the process. They made me feel very well cared for and listened to. Dr. Cara is immensely talented, one of the best! I've also had the great pleasure of getting to have a deep cleaning from their Hygienist, Stef. I can tell that Stef is very passionate about what she does and takes great pride in her work. I know how to spot an excellent Hygienist when I meet one, and Stef is top notch. She's also refreshingly friendly and a joy to talk with. I especially appreciate her positive upliftment in getting me back on track with my gum health. Another hallmark of Indian Peaks is their exceptional Manager, Kayla. From the moment you walk in their office, you're greeted by Kalya's friendly, helpful, and welcoming nature. Kayla sets the tone for the high level of care that is repeated with every single professional you work with at Indian Peaks Dental. I can not say enough good things about this practice. I am beyond grateful that I found them and that I get to make this my home for all of my dental needs. Thank you to everyone who makes Indian Peaks the shining establishment that it is, and for giving me a smile that I'm so proud to show off! If I could give 100 stars, I would!

I have waited a while to calm down before writing this but I do feel people need to know that this office is the worst I have ever experienced. I am sure they are expecting this review as well. The dentist offered to fix a minor chipped tooth, I did not request for this to be done, this was offered to me. I thought how nice. Unfortunately she failed to color match my teeth and therefore I now have two different colored front teeth. I asked for a lighter shade, she said there aren't any and unless I get a veneer (thousands of dollars for one tooth) the tooth will always look that way and she can't undo what she did. After weeks of speaking with other dentists who mentioned better composite shades are available if a dentist is capable of working with them I asked this dentist and she said she isn't comfortable working with them. So I asked how we can move forward to fix my smile and the best they offered was a refund for the "cavity" they billed my insurance for, which there wasn't one. So my barely noticeable chipped tooth is now two completely different colored front teeth and something I see everyone look down to when I am in conversation daily. They said "this is up to our standard." She shouldn't have offered if she wasn't capable of doing this kind of cosmetic work. She should have done a color match/swatch and realized she couldn't match my teeth before permanently altering my smile for the worse. She should have offered to pay to fix it if she couldn't instead of just refunding me for the "cavity" which cant possibly cover how much it is going to be to have it done correctly- something that wasn't necessary before but is now. First picture shows the small chip, second and third are the "fix" in different lighting.
