Was able to get a short-notice appointment to assess and perform root canal. Procedure was nearly painless. Dr. Wiser and team were great! Now scheduled for final step (crown for the tooth) next week. Super pleased with the whole experience!

I have been going here for years. I've had a full range of services from exams and cleanings to fillings and a few implants. Recently they were willing to squeeze me in on very short notice for a check-up before an extended trip out-of-country. This gave me great peace of mind for the travel. They take my "semi-phobia" of people working in my mouth seriously and without minimizing it. They accommodate me with an effective combo of aids that sets my mind completely at peace, no matter the procedure. This is my dentist and they have earned my trust.
I went to JCD as a new patient for a routine checkup with Dr. Lauren Hoye, and I had a great experience. From scheduling to the actual visit, everything moved quickly. What really surprised me was that my cleaning and several fillings were all completed within a week. The cleaning was thorough, and the filling work was the best I have ever had. It was precise and very clean. Before starting treatment, they clearly explained the costs and showed the pricing with and without insurance, which I truly appreciated. Everything felt transparent. Check-in was smooth, and I only waited a few minutes before being seen. Everyone I interacted with, not just the doctor but also the hygienist and assistants, was genuinely kind and welcoming. They greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. I have already recommended JCD to my family, and I will definitely recommend them to my colleagues and friends as well. This is an excellent dental office, and I believe more people should know about it.
If you're looking for a new dentist, look elsewhere. My 80 year old mother first visited JCD two years ago. They recommended that she have 7 teeth pulled! I went with her to the follow up appointment, where we met with a different dentist. I asked if pulling this many teeth was really necessary. He said NO, and they only pulled 3. Who recommends pulling teeth that don't need to be pulled! My mother returned this week for a routine visit just to get clearance before knee replacement surgery. They took x-rays and told her she needed a LOT of work and would not clear her for surgery. She was distraught. They then tried to schedule her for the procedures and sign her up for their insurance plan. She walked out directly. Later the SAME day, mom walked into LIBERTY FAMILY DENTISTRY. They were warm and friendly and saw her right away. They did another x-ray with their highly modern equipment (not the archaic, decades old machine like JCD). The dentist told her that yes, she does need some work. But there was nothing wrong that would preclude her from having surgery. They offered to do the work she needed ON THE SPOT, which she did. And she walked away delighted and having paid a very reasonable bill. JCD business practices are shameful. They prioritize profits and recommend unnecessary procedures.
