About Jane Yang Dental, P.C.
Jane Yang Dental PC is a multi-location practice with offices in Chinatown, New York and Brooklyn, led by Dr. Jane Yang alongside Dr. Ho. The dual-location footprint suits patients who move between Manhattan's Chinatown and Brooklyn's neighbourhoods, with the option to transfer between offices as work or residential geography shifts. The practice covers a broad service mix — from preventive cleanings through implant and surgical work — within the same patient relationship.
For everyday and restorative care, the team handles dental implants, oral surgery, root canal treatment, and gum disease (periodontal) treatment. Cosmetic dentistry covers porcelain veneers and the broader smile-shaping work patients add over time. Orthodontic treatment is offered as clear braces — including Invisalign-style approaches and other transparent orthodontic options — for adults and teens who want to straighten teeth without traditional metal brackets. Sleep apnea treatment is part of the in-house service mix for patients whose breathing during sleep affects their daytime energy. Routine general dentistry, exams, and the smaller restorative work that comes up at standard appointments run alongside the specialty tracks.
If you live in Chinatown or Brooklyn and want a two-location practice with a single dentist relationship across both, this fits.
The clinic uses digital radiographic equipment and modern technology for diagnostic and treatment work. The Chinatown location suits Lower Manhattan patients, while the Brooklyn office serves Brooklyn neighbourhoods including the surrounding residential corridors. Most major dental insurance is accepted across both locations. Searches that bring patients here include Chinatown dentist in NYC, Brooklyn dental practice, dental implants in Chinatown, sleep apnea dentist in Brooklyn, oral surgery in Manhattan Chinatown, gum disease treatment in NYC, clear braces in Brooklyn, root canal therapy in Manhattan, and porcelain veneers in Brooklyn. Terrible experience with this place. I went here two years ago for the first time just for a routine dental checkup. During the visit, the dentist mentioned she could fix my underbite and shared stories of helping other patients with the same issue. Eager to get rid of the suffering caused by my underbite, I signed up for the treatment. During the entire 18-month treatment, they never gave me any advice on oral hygiene, nor were they ever patient when I raised concerns or questions. A few months into the treatment, I noticed that my gums began to recede, but they completely dismissed it. As soon as my front teeth were aligned, she rushed to terminate the treatment without asking for my opinion. Every time I expressed my concerns, she brushed me off and ignored them. After consulting with another dentist, I learned that she failed to disclose she was not a licensed orthodontist. Furthermore, she removed the braces without adjusting my molars into a functional, proper position—an adjustment that was perhaps far beyond her ability. Even worse, her entire treatment plan was a fundamental mistake, as a Combined Orthodontic-Orthognathic Treatment was the only proper solution for my case. I have already consulted with Dental Expert Witnesses (Goodman Orthodontics) and a Dental Malpractice Lawyer (Chianese & Reilly Law, P.C.), and I am confident that justice will be served.
I decided to have my lower left wisdom tooth extracted today. I was worried it would be painful, but Dr. He reassured me before giving me the anesthetic injection. After the injection, he told me to wait five minutes, and then I don't even know when the wisdom tooth was extracted! Haha! Dr. He is very professional and has high emotional intelligence! 👍
The doctor was humorous and patient, and constantly paid attention to the patient's feelings throughout the process.
Request for Dr. Ho if you come. Dr. Jang is extremely rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t greet her patients or explain anything. She talks low and then yells at you if you don’t understand her instructions. Waited over 1 hour and 30 mins just to not be greeted or explained anything and instead yelled at. Disgusting.
Dr. Ho removed two of my wisdom teeth quickly. The process went fine and everything was explained clearly. Overall, the experience was okay and I didn’t have any major issues.
Thorough and quick and attentive. Clean office with good modern equipment and polite staff. Maybe a little rushed but overall I recommend this as a good, honest dental practice. PS Bonus if you want a staff fluent in Chinese (not sure which dialects)
Dr. Ho was very accommodating, patient, and kind towards the elderly. He provided comprehensive medical advice to help her decide which procedures to take. Overall he is a very professional and caring doctor.
I went to this place for my No. 11 tooth last week and had such a bad experience. I felt strongly that I should share this with public. When it was my turn, one assistant took the X-ray for me as usual. I waited for a long time before Dr. Yang finally came over. She started telling me “ your No.11 tooth is bad and it must be removed and followed by implant procedure. She didn’t even introduce herself to me or say “Hello”. I asked: “Are you Dr. Yang”? She replied “Yes”. I then asked: “How are my teeth”? She simply said “Let’s focus on No. 11. It was absorbed by your body both internally and externally for some reason. You can Google it. It has to be removed”. Then she left without telling me. Then instructed her assistant to roll down the chair. Then I heard the male assistant told me to prepare to have my teeth cleaned. Until then I realized that Dr. Yang was gone without explaining to me what needed to be done and what are the steps. I asked her assistant where was Dr. Yang. She said Dr. Yang was very busy and she was seeing other patients. On that day, she was probably only with me for 3-5 minutes then gone. I have seen so many Doctors and other professionals, but I have never seen a dentist like Dr. Jane Yang— so impolite, so unprofessional, lacks the basic respect and courtesy. Since I have never got any treatment by her or discussed any issue with her, I cannot comment on her skill or knowledge, but I can certainly state that she lacks respect and professionalism towards her patients. I strongly dis courage people to select her or her clinic for any dental service based on my recent bad experience.
I was struggling for a year to find a dentist that took Medicaid. I stumbled upon a reddit post of another person with a similar issue who said they went to Dr.Yang and had a great experience. I wholeheartedly agree. I went for a cleaning, x-ray and check up after 5 years of not seeing a dentist. The staff are so kind. They are very quiet but any questions you ask they are happy to answer. It was super quick and Dr. Yang even let me take a photo of my x-ray. I just went back and got my wisdom teeth removed here last Thursday and no swelling so far I will update soon with a review on the removal.
