About Jennifer Ebner, DDS Dentist - Phoenix

Jennifer Ebner, DDS Dentist - Phoenix is a dental practice on North 32nd Street in the Camelback East Village area of Phoenix, Arizona. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward. It can be, since ceramic and composite materials and more conservative techniques sometimes cost more than the cheapest alternative. Pricing varies by practice, so it is worth asking directly rather than assuming.
What is the difference between holistic and cosmetic dentistry?
They overlap but are not the same thing. Cosmetic dentistry is about appearance specifically, while holistic dentistry is a broader philosophy about material choice and treating the mouth as connected to overall health, which can apply to any treatment including cosmetic work.
How often should I have a dental check-up?
Every six months suits most people. If you have gum disease or a history of decay a dentist may suggest coming more often. The point of regular visits is mostly to catch problems while they are still small and cheap to treat.

My family and I are long time patients of Dr. Ebner and her team. The care is always consistent, comfortable, and thorough. I’ve never been given so much knowledge during a visit before. She really takes the time to go over preventative care, and what to do to avoid larger or more complex work later. The front office team and assistant are professional, kind, and personable. I always recommend this office to my coworkers and family. If you’re looking for a place to start your dental care, this is the one! Thanks again Dr. Ebner. It’s so nice to have a dental office that I’m not terrified of!

Dr. Jennifer Ebner is absolutely fantastic. I’ve had dental work done by her and the experience was excellent from start to finish. She is incredibly skilled, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything clearly so you feel comfortable and confident in your treatment. What I appreciate most is her attention to detail and how much she genuinely cares about her patients and the quality of her work. Because of the great experience I’ve already had with her, I fully plan to continue seeing Dr. Ebner for all my future work If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly committed to great results, I can’t recommend Dr. Jennifer Ebner enough.

I’ve been a patient at Innovative Dentistry Biltmore for the past 3–4 years (time really does fly!), and it has truly been the most consistently positive dental experience of my adult life. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and valued. The entire team creates a warm, friendly atmosphere while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Dr. Ebner is exceptional. She is caring, highly trained, and takes the time to explain every step of the process so you always feel informed and comfortable. I admire her perfectionism. I always feel like she's giving her best when she's doing work on me. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I love the text reminders and text communication. I hate having to return phone calls! Appointments are smooth, comfortable and my questions are answered thoroughly, and if something needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, they provide thoughtful guidance without making you feel pressured. I like the honest education and recommendations, clear communication about what’s needed, and upfront transparency about costs. I really appreciate having choices and knowing exactly what to expect. I’m truly grateful to have found such a trustworthy dentist here in Phoenix and plan to stay with Dr. Ebner for years to come. I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Ebner to anyone looking for compassionate, professional dental care.

Jennifer Ebner, DDS, is quite frankly the worst dentist I’ve ever seen. I had a consult with her on 8/30/2023 and came away from it bewildered. First of all, any dentist that tells you that swishing your mouth with water is sufficient rather than brushing your teeth is probably in the wrong field. She also handed me a box of old dentures to look at completely out of the blue. It looked like an old soda can case bottom. I was 56 at the time and was looking for a second opinion on my porcelain crowns. She was arrogant, belittling and rude. I found a reputable dentist who fixed all of my issues immediately after visiting Dr. Ebner’s office. They were shocked and appalled at her lack of professionalism and horrible advice. Hope this helps someone else to avoid this dentist.

Dr. Ebner is an exceptional dentist, and so I am compelled to write another review. And I usually don't do reviews. But she's a better dentist, because she's a better human being. She is not only very skilled (love that she's perfectionistic), she's caring and puts the well being and comfort of patients first. Her staff is also...amazing. So, if you're looking for an exceptional dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Ebner. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. I've been to dentists now for over 50 years, and she's the best. That's saying something!
