Julian and Lex were amazing today. Rebuilt my tooth with such skill, precision and care. Very professional and friendly. It’s hard having a filling done whilst laughing but that says it all! 😁

So extremely disappointed. Had some great treatment in the past, but on calling for an appointment for a broken tooth whilst on holiday I was told I've been struck off the list for non-attended appointments. -I was told on my second phone call the day I returned from holiday that I hadn't been seen in 4 years. I said definitely not. She then agreed it was 2 years- and that my last appointment was within a few days of today's date 2 years ago, meaning I had only just been struck off days before. -I was told repeatedly that I've received email reminders for appointments none of which I have received. They were adamant I was receiving email reminders also for my children who attend every 6 months, but again, no emails. -I then realised that it was likely the childrens dad's email that is contact for them, but surprise, surprise he isn't receiving reminders either. -I asked her to check my email address but she didn't do that either. -When I pointed out the issues with the system specifically, the receptionist I spoke to became accusatory about my tone. As a single mum now navigating a bank holiday weekend with no dental treatment unless my mouth swells up, I find it appalling. The costs privately at Keen are far higher than those in other dental practices and I'm therefore having to attend a practice in Crewe late on a Friday evening. I think a bit of common decency is required. I agree that it is the responsibility of patients to attend appointments. I should have been more organised. But with 6 months inbetween appointments and life happening inbetween, I think the gracious thing to do is to send reminders and atleast a warning letter should patients face being struck off the NHS list. I also requested I be added back on the list but was just informed there is a "12 month wait" and no idea if she added me back on again. I think that unfortunately it suits the practice for NHS patients to fall of the list, forcing them to pay full cost for treatment instead.

Appalling service from this dentist. My son was struck off for not attending two appointments. Why didn't he attend? Because he autistic and was having meltdowns i couldn't physically get him into the building. The dentist were informed with a answering machine message that we wouldn't be attending and yet still struck him off. Complaint filed with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB)

I attended this practice for dental treatment including fillings. Following this, I experienced ongoing sensitivity, and later assessment suggested the filling may have been too high or close to the nerve. I felt this wasn’t fully addressed at the time. I also experienced repeated appointment cancellations with very short notice, including cancellations around an hour before scheduled appointments. During one interaction about this, I was already distressed due to my disabilities and tried to explain this. I felt interrupted rather than supported, and my disabilities were not acknowledged. The situation was treated as though I was being abusive, which I strongly disagree with. I was told a “final warning” would be placed on my record and described as a reasonable adjustment, which I found upsetting and inappropriate. Overall, I felt the situation could have been de-escalated with more understanding, clearer communication, and better disability awareness. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unable to continue my care there.

I cannot fault this dental practice. The super-helpful receptionists, welcoming and friendly dental nurses, skilled and reassuring dentist all combine to make the patient experience the best it can be. Special thanks to Dentist Reza.

My experience at Biddulph Dental Care has been exceptional. I am an incredibly nervous patient having faced numerous fillings, crowns and more over the years. Reza is an excellent dentist, his calming approach and explanation about the work he is doing is extremely helpful. He takes great care, and the end result is neat and tidy dental work. The wider team are friendly and welcoming, and the skills of Dr Arminder are a significant asset to the team. Whilst I will always be very nervous about any dental appointments or treatments, since registering at Biddulph Dental Care, I have attended regularly and feel able more to access treatment.

I went for my first check up on Wednesday and was very nervous after having a bad experience at my previous dentist. I saw Reza and he was absolutely lovely and so were the two ladies who were assisting him. Reza knew that I was nervous and he put me at ease straight away. I won't be worrying about going for my next check up. Also, the two receptionists were so lovely, very polite to me. One of them dashed around the desk to pick my stick up when it fell to the floor. I have no issues with my visit and I really appreciate how kind they were to me.... thank you so much

Being a nervous patient for such a long time and avoided going to the dentist. Sadly I’ve got a cracked tooth which needs coming out in the near future. But the entire team here are fantastic from a nervous patient point of view. Highly recommend
