Keen Dental Care

My experience at Biddulph Dental Care has been exceptional. I am an incredibly nervous patient having faced numerous fillings, crowns and more over the years. Reza is an excellent dentist, his calming approach and explanation about the work he is doing is extremely helpful. He takes great care, and the end result is neat and tidy dental work. The wider team are friendly and welcoming, and the skills of Dr Arminder are a significant asset to the team. Whilst I will always be very nervous about any dental appointments or treatments, since registering at Biddulph Dental Care, I have attended regularly and feel able more to access treatment.

I went for my first check up on Wednesday and was very nervous after having a bad experience at my previous dentist. I saw Reza and he was absolutely lovely and so were the two ladies who were assisting him. Reza knew that I was nervous and he put me at ease straight away. I won't be worrying about going for my next check up. Also, the two receptionists were so lovely, very polite to me. One of them dashed around the desk to pick my stick up when it fell to the floor. I have no issues with my visit and I really appreciate how kind they were to me.... thank you so much

I attended this practice for dental treatment including fillings. Following this, I experienced ongoing sensitivity, and later assessment suggested the filling may have been too high or close to the nerve. I felt this wasn’t fully addressed at the time. I also experienced repeated appointment cancellations with very short notice, including cancellations around an hour before scheduled appointments. During one interaction about this, I was already distressed due to my disabilities and tried to explain this. I felt interrupted rather than supported, and my disabilities were not acknowledged. The situation was treated as though I was being abusive, which I strongly disagree with. I was told a “final warning” would be placed on my record and described as a reasonable adjustment, which I found upsetting and inappropriate. Overall, I felt the situation could have been de-escalated with more understanding, clearer communication, and better disability awareness. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unable to continue my care there.

I cannot fault this dental practice. The super-helpful receptionists, welcoming and friendly dental nurses, skilled and reassuring dentist all combine to make the patient experience the best it can be. Special thanks to Dentist Reza.

Being a nervous patient for such a long time and avoided going to the dentist. Sadly I’ve got a cracked tooth which needs coming out in the near future. But the entire team here are fantastic from a nervous patient point of view. Highly recommend
