About Kendall Dental Associates

North Kendall Drive at 11400, Suite 207, Miami FL 33176, is in the heart of the Kendall commercial corridor — the major east-west arterial that functions as the commercial spine of the Kendall district in southern Miami-Dade County. The 11400 block sits near the Dadeland area, close to the Dadeland South Metrorail station, in a zone of professional office buildings, medical practices, and retail that serves the large suburban residential population of the Kendall, Pinecrest, and Palmetto Bay communities.

Kendall Dental Associates at Suite 207 provides general dental care to the Kendall area patient base from this second-floor professional office address. The "Associates" designation in the practice name suggests a multi-provider group model, offering scheduling flexibility and specialty scope that a solo practitioner cannot provide — patients can often be seen sooner, and different providers within the group may have different areas of clinical emphasis.

General dentistry forms the core service offering: professional cleanings for plaque and tartar control, diagnostic X-rays for structural and bone health monitoring, fillings for areas of decay, crowns for compromised teeth, and the examination that anchors a patient's long-term oral health relationship. In the Kendall suburban market, where a large middle-income and professional population drives substantial dental care demand, a group practice with multiple providers can meet scheduling needs that would overwhelm a solo practitioner.

North Kendall Drive at this address is accessible by car from the surrounding Kendall, Pinecrest, and Palmetto Bay residential communities, with parking in the professional building format. The proximity to the Dadeland South Metrorail station also makes the practice accessible by rail for patients coming from the urban core. Suite 207 is on the second floor of a professional building on this major Kendall commercial corridor.

For patients in ZIP 33176 and the broader Kendall-Pinecrest corridor seeking a group general dental practice on the N Kendall Drive commercial strip, Kendall Dental Associates at 11400 N Kendall Drive Suite 207 provides that multi-provider option in the center of the Kendall dental market.

Based on North Kendall Drive in Miami, Florida, Kendall Dental Associates provides tooth decay treatment and general dentistry alongside routine dental care. The practice is open Monday through Friday. Contact details and a full list of services are on this page.

I have never had a negative experience. Everyone is very helpful and polite. My hygienist Ana is very very gentle and very thorough. Takes her time to make sure nothing is missed. Wouldn’t want anyone else cleaning my teeth.

I wasn’t impressed by my visit here as a new patient. I’ve never been to a dentist office where they have a tv in the room where your teeth are cleaned. The nurse seemed more interested in the news than what she was doing. It was very off putting. Also, there was a personal drinking cup with no lid and a straw next to all of the dental equipment which was gross to me. Not a cleanly or health conscious environment to me. Will not be visiting again.

My family and I have been patients at this dental office for over a year, and I never expected to have an experience like this. Today I went in for my annual check-up. After my X-rays and examination, Dr. Silvestry told me I had a very small cavity that could be treated with a protective filling material. I also asked for a quote for a retainer, making it very clear from the beginning that I only wanted an estimate because I was not planning to have that treatment done that day. I was also very clear that the only procedure I was authorizing was the treatment for the small cavity that had been identified during the exam. After receiving three different treatment estimates (which, oddly enough, kept increasing because they claimed they had made mistakes), they finally told me the total would be $280, which I reviewed, accepted, and signed before any treatment began. However, while I was already numb and the procedure was underway, Dr. Silvestry said, “I’m going to do this tooth too, okay?” I nodded because I assumed she was referring to the treatment we had already discussed and agreed upon. After all, she had examined me just minutes earlier, so I trusted that everything she was doing was part of the treatment plan and the estimate I had already approved. The surprise came when I went to check out. The front desk told me my total was $570—more than double the amount I had agreed to pay. Let me be very clear: my complaint is not about paying for necessary dental work. My concern is that additional procedures were performed without being properly explained beforehand, without informing me of the additional cost, and without obtaining my informed consent before proceeding. Once a patient is numb, lying in the dental chair, and undergoing treatment, that is not an appropriate time to introduce additional procedures that significantly change the cost. What was even more disappointing was that neither the doctor nor the office manager came out to explain what had happened. The front desk employee, who had nothing to do with the decision, was left to deal with the situation alone. Unfortunately, this reflects an unethical practice that I’ve heard about at other dental offices in Miami—adding extra procedures once the patient is already in the chair. I had even seen reviews from other patients describing similar experiences at this office, but I assumed they were isolated incidents. Now I realize they were not. After this experience, neither I nor my family will be returning to this practice. If you value transparency, honest communication, and informed consent, I recommend choosing a different dental office.

Dr Silvestry and his staff are top of the line. I was treated extremely well and they always put great effort in to making me feel cared for. My issue was panic worthy, but Dr Silvestry has a calm that soothes you. He won’t just do something because he can. His plans are based on your need. He is wonderdul! Thank you and God bless you all!

I had a very positive experience with the dentist at Dental Associates of Kendall. She was thorough, empathetic, and explained everything clearly without making me feel rushed. I especially appreciated how understanding she was when I brought up my bruxism and current Botox treatment for my masseters. She listened carefully and discussed helping me find a more medically appropriate route for managing it. The office also helped resolve a billing concern I had, which I appreciated. Overall, the dentist herself was excellent, and I felt comfortable continuing care here.

I have been going to see Dr. Elvin Silvestry for many years for a series of dental procedures and he has done a phenominal job on my teeth every time. He is the best in town, no doubt. Uses many dental plans with minimal payment.

My first consultation with Dr Tydir was exceptional, she was very thorough and professional. Her dental assistant, Mabel, was just as professional and kind. I would highly recommend this practice.
