About Kidtastic Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics - Mesa

Kidtastic Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics - Mesa provides dental care on West Southern Avenue in Mesa, Arizona. Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

Pediatric dental care is built around treating children specifically — dentists with additional training in child development and behaviour management, and offices designed to make a first visit unintimidating. Guidance generally points to a child's first dental visit around age one or within six months of the first tooth.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. How do I stop my child getting cavities?
Brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, supervising until they have the dexterity to do it properly, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear during the day. Frequency of sugar matters more than the total amount.
Can people tell I am wearing clear aligners?
They are considerably less noticeable than fixed braces, which is the main reason people choose them, though they are not completely invisible at close range. Small attachments bonded to some teeth can be faintly visible.
How many hours a day do I need to wear clear aligners?
Around twenty to twenty-two hours daily is the usual instruction — effectively all the time except when eating, drinking anything other than water, and cleaning your teeth. Treatment slows noticeably if that is not kept to.

Came in for an emergency visit for my 9m old and everyone was so very nice, profesional, and attentive. The place was very clean and still catered to kids. Will definitely be returning and making this our primary pediatric dentist for all my kids:)

They treated our boys like family! Made our older ones cavity fillings so seamless and a pain free experience. Our younger one keeps asking for candy just so he can get cavities too so he can go back to see the Kidtastic staff and Dr. Parsa ! They are counting down till their next cleaning.

I have taken my 3 children there for the past 3 years and they are fantastic! My kids are not afraid and leave with smiles on their faces! My youngest has had to have 3 procedures and caps put on her teeth and every time the staff has been wonderful! They are all so good with the kids and very accommodating to anything going on with the kiddos! I will not take my children anywhere but here for their dental needs!
