About Kings Road Dental Practice

Based on King's Road in the Brislington area of Bristol, England, Kings Road Dental Practice is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.

A family dental practice sees a range of ages under one roof, which for most households means fewer separate appointments across different offices. It typically covers routine checkups and restorative treatment for both children and adults, with referrals out for anything requiring specialist training.

Orthodontic treatment straightens teeth and corrects bite problems using braces, clear aligners, or similar appliances over a period that commonly runs from about a year to several years depending on the case. It is offered to both children, where early evaluation can catch developing issues, and adults at any age.

Full mouth rehabilitation is comprehensive treatment that rebuilds the function and appearance of most or all of the teeth, combining several procedures in a planned sequence rather than treating one tooth in isolation. It typically suits patients with extensive wear or long-neglected dental problems affecting the whole bite. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. They have been polite, but I'm afraid that the service provided wasn't up to standard. I wanted to register with them but had an emergency as I had two teeth crumbling down (joys of my latest pregnancy) and was referred to go there by NHS 111 anyway. I do no longer intend to proceed in registering myself and my family as: 1) the appointment did not solve my issue as I only had a temporary filling put on 2) my fillings fell 10 days later leaving me with just the two teeth remains 3) I was referred to someone that could treat me only months later - they originally stated at the appointment that due to the extent of the damage I needed tooth removal and due to the pregnancy and difficulty of the case, they couldn't proceed doing it themselves. They called me back 3 times and I answered stating that I didn't have any preference for the referral, but that I needed help ASAP. This was in January 2026. It seems that my referral was only done in April 2026. I gave birth in the meantime and the general hospital that will see me is still waiting to arrange an appointment for me in August. I could have been done with it by now if they had not delayed the process for months. I'm still not able to chew on food that isn't mushy. They weren't rude at all to me, as some other reviews mentioned, but they haven't been helpful. That's all.

Amit Ruparelia - impatient, abrupt and no bedside manner. I have left a formal complaint today to this practice after how he treated my elderly grandmother upon an emergency private appointment. Wouldn’t take anyone there even if it was for free and would not recommend this clinic as recommended by the NHS 111. Zero stars if I could.

I'm seeing quite a few negative reviews and honestly made quite a bit apprehensive about coming here. I was referred here from a 111 dental issue. However I must say I was really impressed with the dentist Gursimran-Jit Panesar. He was very friendly and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Been coming to this dental practice for nearly 31 years and it has always been great. Was always seen by Fiona who was fantastic however she sadly left. Itziar took over my care and she is equally as fantastic! The loveliest lady, is extremely thorough, takes her time, does not rush you and genuinely really cares about you and your teeth! Please keep hold of Itziar Kings Road! ❤️

We recently contacted the clinic as my wife was experiencing continuous dental pain, and we requested an urgent appointment for both a check-up and treatment. Despite the urgency, we were given an appointment three days later. Upon arrival, we were told that only a check-up could be carried out, as only 15 minutes had been booked — no time was allocated for actual treatment. When I asked about arranging a treatment appointment, I was told the next available slot was 21 days later. I expressed my concern, explaining that it is unreasonable to expect someone in ongoing dental pain to wait that long. Their only response was to “call 111.” I explained that 111 would only perform an extraction, not proper treatment, yet the staff simply stated they couldn't do anything further. What was most disappointing was the lack of empathy — especially after I informed them that my wife is diabetic, on insulin, and highly prone to infections. There was no urgency or compassion shown, and the entire interaction felt dismissive and uncaring. The service was unprofessional, rude, and completely devoid of compassion. In addition, I had a tooth filled at the same clinic, but the filling just came off about 2 months. Despite the treatment being paid for, they refused to repair it. This lack of responsibility and poor service has left us extremely dissatisfied. 😒 Although there previous services was satisfactory but now it is extremely poor which I can think because change of few good staffs.
