About Knoxville Smiles

Knoxville Smiles is located on South Peters Road in Knoxville, Tennessee, a practice that combines routine general dentistry with a clear cosmetic focus. For patients across the surrounding neighborhoods, it offers a single convenient place to keep their teeth healthy and to improve the way their smile looks. General dentistry forms the everyday backbone of the practice. Exams, cleanings, fillings and the ongoing preventative care that catches problems early make up the bulk of what most patients need, and this steady, fundamental work makes Knoxville Smiles a sensible choice for individuals and families wanting a dependable dentist near home on South Peters Road. The cosmetic and restorative side broadens what the practice can do. Teeth whitening and veneers give patients straightforward ways to brighten and refine their smile, while dental implants provide a more substantial option for replacing missing teeth and restoring both appearance and chewing function. Because these services sit alongside general care, patients can move from a routine check-up into cosmetic or restorative treatment without changing practices. Emergency dentistry completes what the practice offers. Dental problems rarely arrive at a convenient time, and a local option for urgent issues means patients aren't left scrambling when something suddenly goes wrong. For people across Knoxville, that mix of routine, cosmetic, restorative and emergency care makes Knoxville Smiles a well-rounded choice. Whether the visit is an overdue cleaning, a whitening treatment, an implant consultation or an unexpected emergency, the practice is geared to cover the range of dental needs that come up over the course of ordinary life in the area. Because cosmetic and restorative work sit alongside everyday dentistry, patients benefit from a single team that already knows their teeth when a new need comes up. A routine clean can lead naturally into a conversation about whitening or veneers, and someone weighing options for a missing tooth can discuss implants without seeking out another office. For Knoxville residents on or near South Peters Road looking for a practice they can stay with over the years, that continuity is a meaningful part of what Knoxville Smiles offers.

I can’t say enough good things about Knoxville Smiles. From start to finish, the entire experience has been exceptional. Michael, Shannon, Jacob, Christian, Kim, McKinley, George, Ashley, Lindsay—and honestly everyone on the team—made me feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of every step of the way. Full reconstruction was a big procedure for me, and they handled it with professionalism, precision, patience and genuine care. The communication was clear, the process was smooth, and the results so far have exceeded my expectations. You can tell this is a team that takes pride in their work and truly cares about their patients. If you’re considering major dental work or even routine care, I highly recommend Knoxville Smiles. You’ll be in very good hands. I’ll add few pictures after I get my final set of arches.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I can’t recommend Lacy enough! She was so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable from the start. She was gentle during my cleaning, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and that made all the difference. She’s the kind of person who makes going to the dentist a much better experience.

Ever since I was young, I’ve always had anxiety about going to the dentist. A few years ago, I became a patient at Knoxville Smiles, and I can truly say it has been such a blessing. From the moment you walk in, everyone is kind, welcoming, and caring. The receptionists are always friendly and pleasant, the hygienists are compassionate and gentle, and I’ve had the opportunity to be cared for by each doctor at different times. Dr. Costa, Dr. Wolkow, and Dr. Bre have all been so kind, patient, and caring toward me. I’m always nervous and scared when I go to the dentist, but they have a way of making my anxiety feel lighter because they genuinely care and always want the best for their patients. They make me feel safe, heard, and cared for every time I visit. This is truly a wonderful practice filled with amazing staff and doctors who have such a servant’s heart. Thank you for treating me with so much love, kindness, and compassion. I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful dental practice with such kind-hearted people. 🩵

I’ve been working with Dr. Jacob Walcow for years now. He has taken a measured, thoughtful, scientific, heartfelt approach to my teeth and my care. My teeth are particularly challenging and he has taken them on as his own project. His services are invaluable. I’ve been to many dentists and he is by far the best. I recommend him and his whole practice. They are professional. They are excellent.

Lacy and Dr. Wolkow were amazing. This was my first visit. They made me feel comfortable and not shamful. Even though I havent been to the Dentist in awhile. Lacy, was really careful and thorough during her exam. When Dr. Wolkow came in he listened to my concerns and came up with a game plan that I felt comfortable with. I can understand why this office has such high ratings. From the check in to check out everyone was amazing.
