Brilliant emergency service for my dad he had horrible toothache all around brilliant care and after care way give thank you Lovely staff all throughout the business
I have been to see the dentist today. The staff are very lovely and friendly and make you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a dentist. Thank you all for your care
Excellent customer service, the dentists that removed 2 teeth for me very professional, kept checking if I was ok,would highly rate them
Personal background: (1) 75 year old caring for a 99.7 year old + no car and therefore limited mobility (in seeking alternative practices). (2) Stopped lying some years ago (just happened - no virtue). Major consequence, I can instantly detect when I am being lied to. (3) We were flooded out of our home and relocated outside Horncastle (having been a patient at the practice for about 2 years). (4) Attempted to book an appointment on return and was told that practitioner was away on extended leave (LIE). I phoned again and was told that they get back to me when space was available (LIE!). I then adopted (after waiting another 2 months) another approach - I would register as a new patient. So I visited practice 3 weeks ago and provided reception with my email address. Waited 2 weeks, with no response, and visited last Monday and gave my email address again on another slip of paper - no response to date. Mum and myself have 135 years as adult consumers and we have NEVER been DISCRIMINATED against to such a degree. We wonder whether the accurate and truthful account (above) would be of wider interest (eg national newspapers, TV and MP). We certainly fit the victim profile - elderly, disabled...
Case update (following over 500 views). Mum is now 99.9 years old and as a 75 year old I am still paying taxes. Over the years I have contributed to the education and training of many dentists- a proportion of whom (say 0.1%) go into dentistry to alleviate suffering/do good. The balance see the profession as a way of raking -in money in a rigged market (too few dentists/high demand). Many readers are too young to recall the dental DRILL/MILL scandal of the 1950s and 1960s. Dentists were incentivized (by poor NHS contracts) to favour filling over prevention. As a child nearly all visits to the dentist resulted in a filling. Today, NHS dentistry is on its knees and dentists can pick and choose their clients. My big mistake, looking back, was to challenge blatant untruths - I recall going to this surgery for 3 consecutive appointments and each time being told that my details were not on the system. I wrote to the Practice Manager, saying that I could prove they were in error (I'd retained the appointment slips) but asking for compensation (their Web site, at the time contained a policy that stated that the Practice reserved the right to fine patients if they failed to attend appointments) . I got a very shirty letter back telling me to.... I'm now facing the loss of all my molars and resigned to being sans teeth. I urge all current and future clients to only open their mouths when INSTRUCTED to do so. If you have been, thanks for listening.
Been with Kordel House Dental Practice for many years and always been happy with the brilliant service provided. Today the receptionist Laura was so helpful, answered all the queries I had very professionally, and got my newborn a future appointment, thanks so much Laura!
