Shady billing practices and incredibly rude staff. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from this office. Jose at the front desk and Elizabeth in billing were both extremely rude and dismissive when I called with a legitimate question about a service I had received. I was previously told that the laser treatment I received was not covered by my insurance, which is why I understood that I would be responsible for the cost. However, after contacting my insurance company, I was informed that this is a covered service under my plan. When I called the office back to clarify why the service had not been submitted to my insurance, Elizabeth repeatedly told me, “We went over this with you and told you the cost.” While I acknowledge that the cost was discussed, that is not the issue. I was told the service wasn’t covered by my insurance, which is very different from being told that the office simply does not submit the claim to insurance. I called back with my insurance representative on the phone, and neither Jose nor Elizabeth would initially provide their names. My insurance representative had to ask multiple times before they would identify themselves. When the insurance representative asked why the office would not submit a claim for a service that is covered, Elizabeth responded, “We just don’t.” She also stated that the situation had been explained to me, which is not an accurate representation of what I was told. I was then told that I could submit the claim to my insurance myself. That was especially frustrating because the office is in-network with my insurance, and I was simply trying to understand why the claim wasn’t being submitted in the first place. The entire interaction left me feeling like I was being given the runaround rather than receiving a straightforward explanation. Regardless of the office’s billing policy, the communication and attitude were extremely poor. I’m especially disappointed because the dental hygienist is wonderful and provides excellent care. Unfortunately, having a good hygienist isn’t enough when you’re met with rude and dismissive behavior whenever you have a legitimate billing question. Based on this experience, I will not be returning.

Angela goes beyond for me.... She enjoys mine and Lola visits.... Lola is my Service dog 🐕‍🦺 All the staff as well as my doctor dentist 😬 😁 treat me with kindness and patience and with respect and dignity.... God Bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️ Ms. Brenda

I scheduled a teeth cleaning and a consultation for Invisalign for my husband and I. Teeth cleaning was very thorough, my teeth feel very clean after. The consultation was very informative and within our budget! Will definitely be recommending!

I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr.Singh today. It was a very pleasant fast experience. He was so kind and patient with me. The dental assistant Q was the sweetest person and also patient with me. My anxiety was so high but Q was there to help me through it and remind me to breathe. Such an important thing to do when anxiety comes into play. I am beyond grateful and thankful for this dental practice.

I have quite a few dental problems when it comes to crowded teeth, cavities, and crooked teeth and needing braces. I also was informed I needed my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Singh and Naomi both performing 7 fillings on me this afternoon and made sure I was super comfortable, explained everything and answered any and all questions I had, and did a super amazing job on my teeth. They made me feel less anxious and made it feel like what I had going on was a lot less than I anticipated. Moved to San Antonio about 2 years ago and this will definitely be my new regular office. Also, the music played is absolutely wonderful lol, I love it.

Dr Singh and Naomi were wonderful! I had a great experience here. I have a really bad fear of going to the dentist, and all the staff were so kind and explaining everything to me to reassure me. I got some work done, and Dr Singh and Naomi kept asking if I was okay. It made me feel they cared and they work so fast. Love that I made my appointment here and will continue to go back! I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I came in not really expecting much, just wanted my aching tooth to be taken care of. But omg the service here is phenomenal. 10/10. Front desk, the nurses, and Dr Parmveer Singh were GREAT! I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out, and the procedure was quick and efficient. I couldn’t believe how okay I felt throughout the whole process. Little discomfort and only on the infected tooth side, which is expected, but the other 3 tooth was ZERO pain. And I didn’t do anesthesia, only got numbed too. I am so glad I found them and I am recommending everyone I know here!

Came to La cantera Dental after years of not going and had a great experience! Angela was my hygienist and did an amazing job. She went over the x-rays with me answered all my questions and made sure i was comfortable!The front desk staff was also very helpful and informative about the next steps

I honestly had skipped the dental office many years due to a previous bad experience at another dental office. However, I’m so happy to have found La Cantera dental. It was such a relief to have found a space where I can get treatment, cleanings, and leave with a bright smile (literally!). They genuinely care for your dental health. I love this place and would not change it for another clinic!!
